I have been regularly staying at Ballinwillin House on business for the last 18 months. Miriam and Pat are perfect hosts; warmly welcoming and attentive to their guests needs. The courtyard rooms are spacious and very comfortable and the farm is extremely quiet and peaceful. I love seeing the deer in the fields on the road up to the house.... More

I will remember my stay simply because Miriam & Patrick made me feel so welcome & special in a genuine, authentic way. They clearly love what they do. I loved the breakfast in the big open farmhouse kitchen.

Couldn't have stayed in a nicer place in Mitchelstown. Patrick and Miriam were most welcoming and accommodating. Stayed in the courtyard which had a tastefully decorated and spacious room. Great facilities in the old coach house accommodation with use of the kitchen and dining room. Good internet. Lovely breakfast with the hosts the following morning. Also purchased some of the... It was getting late and we had no reservation. We exited the motorway at Mitchelstown and heading into the town, we saw a sign for Ballinwillin House. What an experience it turned out to be! Great accommodations in the old coach house with all the amenities; breakfast with Miriam and Pat Mulcahy included local products, many of them produced on... More

My wife, her parents, and I just spent three days at Ballinwillin with the Mulcaheys (Sept/2014), and it was wonderful. In addition to terrific accommodations, the best part was having breakfast with Miriam and Pat, joined on Saturday morning by two of their adult kids. They're all great cooks, engaging, and funny. And Dr. Pat helped to cure my ailing... More

This is an actual working farm, and our hosts, Miriam and Patrick Mulcahey, couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating! From the delicious breakfasts in the farmhouse kitchen, to our great room, service was top notch. But more than that, it was like visiting with friends or relatives, very warm and friendly. And if you are in the area tracing... More

In August our family of four stayed at Ballinwillin House, we had two rooms in the annexe with en-suite which was tastefully decorated and clean. A very pleasant stay throughout our four nights we stayed. Our hosts Pat & Miriam whom were very welcoming & genuine people, a home from home to us. Would fully recommend to stay & will... More

We were looking for a place to stay outside of Cork and came across Ballinwillin House. From beginning to end, our experience was wonderful! Patrick and Miriam have a passion and love for all that they do and it comes across beautifully. The rooms are beautifully decorated with beds so comfortable and one of the best showers I've ever had.... More

Three of my friends and I walked from Coast to Coast across Southern Ireland last year. We walked a marathon every day, so our various hotels were very important to us. One of the highlights of our adventure has to be Ballinwillin House in Mitchelstown. We had a fantastic evening, eating beautiful organic meats, drinking lots of organic red wine... More
