We spent 2 nights at Ressa. The home stay is located about 10 minutes drive away from Senggigi so bare that in mind. Staff were very friendly when we arrived. Communal area is comfortable with books, music and seating. The key to our room was very sticky and bent and it was a bit of a chore to open and... More

Helpful people and great to chat to. Komangs mother in law makes the best rice wine for only 25k per bottle. We enjoyed (not sure how many) a few bottles with a great and diverse bunch of travellers while we stayed here. If you want to walk, go to warung jawa near by or ride to warung padang right next... I had a very short stay (only one night) at Ressa but these are my opinions: - Great staff, very friendly and helpful; - Rooms are simple, but clean, comfortable and spacious; - Location is a bit far from Sengiggi itself, might pose some problems; - Even though surroundings are quiet, staff (and a guest, I believe) were out talking... The Ressa homestay provided great service and place to stay for really good price. The room was clean (cleaned every day) with a nice small terrace in front of each room where the b-fast was served every morning (so for every room separately). B-fast consisted of few pieces of local fruit, jaffles (either egg or banana) and tea or coffee.... More

I selected this homestay having completed the Rinjani trek and wanted somewhere away from the centre of Sengiggi. For the price I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. The room was spacious with a comfy bed (standard room), although the night after returning from the trek any bed would have been appreciated! Also, the room was very clean. The... More

Cute homestay with big rooms. The rooms are clean, but look dirty because they're pretty old. The owners are very friendly and helpfull and the staff as well. The wifi works perfectly for skype or surfing on the internet. I didn't like the breakfast (banana in toast?!) but it was ok with fruit and tea. One night there was a... More

only if you had your wheels or transport because you can't just walk anywhere. You have to use transport to get anywhere including senggigi square or beach. The room was basic and clean so it served the purpose. Staff were nice but not very helpful when you ask them how to get somewhere since all they suggest is using taxis... More

We spent a total of 3 weeks around the Lombok area and we stayed here on two separate occasions. The place is nice and cosy with a lovely little garden. The room we stayed in first time round was fan only, was a little warm but that was whats expected. The room was very clean and the staff insist on... More

I was late for tonight's check in and we were still served with welcoming coffee or tea. This is just impressive for such rate. I stay here just to spend time at Rembulan Seafood but it turned up to be a better bargain at Menega Corner just before the Rembulan Seafood. All I can say..awesome experience at Lombok so far... Definitely worth going if you look for a decent homestay. Free tea/coffee on arrival and breakfast was even served 30 mins before the regular breakfast time. Rooms and shower are what you pay for but clean and alright. I agree with the other reviewers that it can get kind of annoying when you need to sleep earlier and you have... More
