This hotel has recently been lovingly restored by its new owner, and boasts beautiful new interiors (Anderson windows, fine wood floors, fireplaces with incredible mantles, walls lined with nature photos by the very talented photographer/owner). The best part of our room ("Star") was a 20+ foot high wall mural by the owner's sister. The woodwork and finishes are top quality,... More

It is not unusual for a cabin up around 5000 feet to be a little pricey. However, I was amazed by the 139.00 rate per night in an upscale cabin that had many amenities. I especially liked the fireplace and the complimentary logs, which made for a very cozy and romantic evening. Aside from that, the service was superior. To... More

Cute little hotel in the mountains. Only about 7 rooms so you get such wonderful care. Each room is decorated in its own theme. Mine had a big log bed and fireplace. Everything about the stay was wonderful.

Agree with other reviewers... this is a great experience. Who'd have thought you'd find this in a tiny little place like Pine Mountain Club? (Yes, that's the official name of the town.) Owner/manager Diana takes personal pride in her place, as she should. Beautiful designed and furnished... she had spare time so she showed us each room. Lots of nice... More

We wanted to explore a little of the Los Padres National Forest area. On looking for accommodation we came across Pine Mountain Inn with its very positive reviews. Having stayed there ourselves I can say that these are not exaggerated. We stayed in the Wildflower Room which was very spacious, well equipped and with its own balcony area. Would wholeheartedly... We had the most wonderful time at this Inn! =-) We found this place based on a last minute search on the internet and luckily there was a cancellation that allowed us to book the ROSE room. Diana was so sweet, we told her we would be there in about an hour and when we showed up she was out... More

Found this place online to meet a date from Match.com. So I booked and I will be back every time I get a chance. The rooms as well as being exquisitely decorated are fully functional and well laid out. Every wish is anticipated by Diane the Innkeeper. If you fail to enjoy this place, it is due to your inability... More

What a delightful surprise! We stumbled on this place in order to break up a trip south. If we lived closer, we'd go back just to relax and enjoy the place. The owners have done a wonderful job on a remodel. The bed is very comfortable, the place is well-lit, and everything you could possibly need is provided for. If... More

Found this place online and what a treat! The innkeeper, Diana, is quite a gem too. This place she has recreated is top notch. Each room, 7 in all, is a vision of a unique theme of the Pine Mountain Club area. Exquisitely decorated by artists with an eye for the unusual. Cleanliness & spaciousness is another one of the... If you want a mountain cabin get-away from the chaos of LA, this is a great place to just chill out and enjoy nature. It is a small inn with a limited number of rooms, but our "Wildflower Room" was as quaint as it gets. If you can't live without electronics, they have wifi and a nice flat screen TV... More
