I liked them. Very much. And the dogs. That’s why I go for guest houses because there’s much more interraction with the owners and staff than you get in a hotel. This is definitely not a 4* establishment and the owner is very annoying. Luckily, after one night we found accommodation at the nearby Hartford House, which is outstanding (highly recommended)! This guest house has, I believe, been missold by the proprieters. It is claimed to be a 4* country house with restaurant but I would rate it as 2*.
