We stayed for 2 nights and it was absolutely amazing. The place had a very warm and homely atmosphere. The surrounding view was beautiful and a perfect location to relax and catch up on a much needed break. The hosts were very warm and welcoming. They went out of their way to make us comfortable and have the best time... More

We stayed here for 5 nights a few weeks ago. Inkungu is a wonderful place to relax and is easily in our top 10 of 'best holiday accommodation ever'. The lodge is very comfortable and tastefully decorated, with lots of open plan areas. The rooms are fantastic - nice furniture, comfortable beds - all with great views on to the... More

My wife and I stayed here for 6 nights in early Sept. Ant and Kerry where the perfect hosts and we were treated like Royalty. Inkungu has a lovely setting overlooking Cathkin Peak and if you are lucky like we were to see snow on the peaks, it makes the stay so much more special. The food was lovely and... More

Stayed here with kids and the grandparents. It has superb views over central drakensberg and the front rooms are well positioned to take in the views. The dinning area uand bar also make the most of the view. The food was excellent from breakfast to dinner. Indeed they had a pizza night and they were amongst the best I have... More

What a fantastic birthday surprise weekend away! The secluded lodge is so romantic, beautiful, clean, beautifully decorated and so comfortable. I was lucky enough that my partner got it all right for m birthday. We got to wake to majestic views every morning and the meal menu, so simple but you would not want to order anything else! The staff... More

The setting is as close to heaven as you can get whilst you are still alive. Friendly staff and good quality food help the overall experience. Rooms have thatched ceilings so may be a bit dusty for some guests, also one end of the hotel gets the morning sun and is warmer than the other end. Poor Wi-Fi connections.
