We stayed for 1 night at this excellent chambre d'hote, unfortunately the weather did not permit us to enjoy the garden and pool. The room is very clean, fine, the bed good, nice hot shower and a very friendly lady of the house. We would like to return, and hopefully enjoy the garden, and surroundings. All worthwhile! Merci Chantelle.

My wife & I have stayed here twice, and if you are in the area I can think of no better place to rest & relax. The attractive house and the peaceful hamlet in which it is situated immediatetely set the tone for your stay, which is reinforced by the welcome from Chantelle and Bernard. Their attention to detail ensures... More

This being our third stay at le Clos du Plantis we decided to stay for five nights but ended up staying for nine nights. It is a beautiful farmhouse in beautiful surroundings, even though it is off the beaten track we found plenty to do in the mornings and enjoyed the pool and peaceful gardens in the afternoon. Me and my sister were at the wedding in Cognac District and we were recommended this place. The house is so beautiful, charming French with swimming pool and large garden. Really the place one need if one wants to be "born again". We were greeted by wonderful hosts, they were there for us all the time. Our room was super... More

Unfortunately we were very disappointed with our stay at Le Clos Du Plantis. We had booked the family suite for 2 nights: We had expected to be accomodated in 2 interlinking rooms, as the phrase "family suite" would suggest. In fact we were shown to two rooms on two different floors, not only separated by a flight of stairs but also... More

We've just spent a night at the Clos du Plantis; we were greeted warmly by Chantal when we arrived; the room was spacious and clean and opened directly on to the garden and pool. Although past it's summer best, the garden was pretty with fruits trees. Le Goulet is a bit off the beaten track, but all the nicer for... More
