Have just returned from spending two excellent nights at Broomfield House used as a base to explore Edinburgh. We had 2 rooms; a large double and a triple for three of our daughters. Stuart, Sylvia and Tracey were wonderful hosts; nothing was too much trouble. Cup of tea on arrival, help with parking and advise on where to eat. The... More

I would highly recommend anyone to stay here. The rooms are lovely and clean. The couple can't do enough for you. Breakfast is simply the best. Very peaceful. Relaxing. The usual tea / coffee making facilities in the room but Sylvia still brought me a tray of tea when I arrived. The little things make all the difference. It's so... More

Broomfield House was our little slice of heaven after a disappointing stop at a "bed and breakfast" further north. Sylvia and Stuart were so welcoming and friendly, the room was spectacular, the private bathroom was beautiful and LARGE! and the breakfast was out of this world. Wish we could have spent more time there. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.

Stayed here with my wife for a night on basis of excellent Trip Advisor reviews and it was very nice. We ended up with a family room with a double and 2 single beds which was very nice and spacious. The people who ran the place were very nice, friendly and helpful and greeted us with a fresh pot of... More

Superb value, spotless bedrooms, comfy beds and a breakfast that would put many hotels to shame, so much choice. Highly recommended. The owners are so helpful. Central for exploring all the border region.

I stayed for one night, in November. It was a late booking. I was very impressed with the welcome, What a lovely friendly couple, nothing seemed too much trouble. It is so clean, and comfy, it is the extra touches, that make it feel more like 4star. plenty of choices for breakfast. would like to stay again sometime.

Stayed here with my daughter over the weekend. The bedroom and facilities were excellent and well maintained. The 3 hosts were really friendly and the breakfast went down a treat. Couldn't fault the stay one bit and would definitely go back if i ever needed to stay overnight in the area.

Were very warmly greeted by friendly hosts. The room was nice and clean. The breakfast very tasty, with the possibility to choose from a variety of options, and beautifully served table. Felt like at home, would definitely return again. Thank you :)

I stayed in the Broomfield bed and breakfast with my parents in July 2013. Greatly appreciated the warm hospitality. Clean comfortable rooms and nice hosts. Highly recommended. I would go back if I'm ever that way again.
