We arrived at 2pm as organised, instead of 6pm as advertised. On arrival were greeted with a very can only say stressed lady!! saying was our fault for wanting to arrive at 2pm instead of 6pm. We should have taken that as a warning!! and carried on into Earlston where the Festival was going on. The property was very welcoming,... More

Leaning towards the very good reviews in relation to this B & B we stopped overnight to break up a journey to Scotland. Check in is after 6pm and on arrival we were shown the living room. This room has a television which is not very modern. Also in this room there are a number of pieces of furniture which... More

I feel this b&b was overpriced, the area was lovely, just wish we booked somewhere else! Nice house, although there are that many ornaments you are scared incase you break anything! Even a stuffed fox under a table! Our room had a shared bathroom which we weren't aware of! The rooms had locks on the inside but not the outside,... More

Just returned from an evening at the HG, loved the place, Leslie allowed an early check, 2 p.m instead of 6 p.m. The Granary is fantastic, great double room, with single bed. Lovely high ceiling, great communal living room, fantastic bathroom and massive. Breakfast the next morning was fab, no rush on a Sunday so no problem to walk down... More

We stayed here with our dogs whilst competing in the local area. Our host was welcoming and friendly (if a little eccentric). Good local knowledge and recommended several places nearby to eat. Room was spacious and clean with a larger than average en suite and shower. It was warm and welcoming after a day on the moors.

We spent 4 days in the Scottish Borders and stayed here in Huntlywood Granary where we were made very welcome by Lesley. Our room was spacious, very clean and tastefully decorated. En suite facilities were excellent. Breakfasts were generous and beautifully cooked while we sat around the kitchen table - very homely. A fine start to the day! Conversations in... More

We visited this b@b for the weekend and was greeted by our host Leslie a very friendly and esentric lady who showed us to our room . The Huntlywood Granary is a lovely B&B in the Scottish Borders. Useful especially for a drive-about the region but also as a stop-over point for trips to Edinburgh and Glasgow. The owner was very friendly and offered some excellent suggestions about places to visit in the surrounding area. We stayed in a lovely warm room, plenty of space. Great breakfast.... More
