Stayed here for a week, for the world championships. The hotel is situated centrally for El Molar, and is near to the motorway. Rooms exceptionally clean. Some staff spoke very good English. The breakfast was continental and had a good choice. The front desk is manned 24/7, and they have parking which is paid for separately . Nothing was too... More

Used it for one night en route to the ferry. Very close to the motorway, but not to the point you can hear it. Very nice place, recent refurb I believe. Friendly helpful staff. Very clean. Not being a 'hotel' it doesn't have all the top end facilities but it was a completely adequate 'overnighter'. There are a number of... More

I have stayed here before and have to say it is consistent. It has very secure underground parking which is perfect if you are fully loaded, you don't have to worry. The wifi is ok, it did keep slowing down but I expect their were a lot of people using it in the evening. It was ok to download emails... More

Great location halfway from the ferries to Almeria. Friendly staff really secure inside parking. Great little town. Downside restaurants don't open until very late so you can't get an early so live like the Spanish and eat late

Driving from the ferry at Santander to Southern Spain we decided to stop over to break the journey. We didn't want a hostal on the motorway, we wanted something with a little more character and found El Molar, just 5 minutes off the motorway, just north of Madrid. Then found Hotel Azul, a little gem. Underground secure parking, ideal for... More

We have stayed here on several occasions when travelling from Santander to the Costa del Sol and back. It is a very good place to stop overnight when travelling along this route both location wise and convenience . The hostel is exceptionally clean and the staff friendly and helpful. I can recommend without hesitation.

The hotel does what it says on the tin. Clean, fairly modern, pet friendly, secure parking. However the town is a dump with little or no selection of eating places, and suffering severely from El Crisis, It is also on the flightpath into Mardid airport and very noisy. The breakfast is also poor. It looked like a good idea as... More

Stopped here on our way from Biarritz to the South of Spain. Good location to stop before facing the traffic etc of Madrid the following morning. Nice hotel with great secure parking. Very helpful receptionist. Very pet friendly. The rooms were ok. The bathroom was very small and the shower was very tight. Rooms not in any way soundproofed as... More
