We had a lovely stay in this very comfortable house. Kitchen wonderfully equipped and bedrooms clean and pleasant. Ana is a very helpful yet unobtrusive owner who is on the spot to give information if wanted. Lovely views from lots of little terraces. Plenty walks around and although the village is tiny there is a good country restaurant only a... More

In April 2011 we, with three other couples, spent two delightful days walking, painting, reading in this charming house. Beautifully appointed in a simple style, there was everything needed for comfortable self-catering. A very well equipped kitchen/dining room with fresh bread awaiting our arrival and well thought out bedrooms and ensuite shower-rooms. Enjoy the tiny posies of flowers in each... More

I spent 6 unforgettable days in Ferreirola, at Casa Ana in October, 2010. I joined a fun cooking school/small tour group for about 10 days, learning to make -- and enjoying! -- tasty dishes from Andalucía and other regions of Spain. At Anne's B&B all my senses were enriched, & it was a jewel of my 3 week visit in... More

I stayed at Casa Ana on a life coaching holiday and it was the perfect setting for thinking and reflecting. The rooms and terraces look out onto the valley and the mountains, and we went for numerous walks - some leisurely and others more strenuous. The rooms were lovely. Mine had doors which opened onto a terrace. When I slept... More

I went here with a group of strangers for a writer's retreat and made what I hope shall be some lifelong friendships, such is the magic of Casa Ana. Anne has established a comfortable, welcoming and peaceful B and B in the mountains of southern Spain. An ideal base to explore the region or a perfect place to do nothing,... More

Casa Ana is a beautiful place nestled on the side of one of the steep Andalucian Mountains in a very picturesque spanish village. We slept to the sound of wind through the valley and a deep restful silence. The rooms are done beautifully and the gardens and terraces are stunning. Anne was the ideal host, very warm and welcoming. Our... More

Casa Ana is one of the most restful places I have ever stayed. I visited in November and the days were bright and warm. I travelled by bus from Malaga to Pitres and Ana picked me up. Ferreirola is off the beaten track with great walks right on the doorstep - waterfalls, olive orchards and hills. Accomodation is spotlessly clean... More

This little village is a pure treasure. Ancient paths are laced with wild lavender, rosemary and thyme taking you past the sweetest springs, from village to village. In the evening sitting on the glorious terrace at Casa Anna we watched the moon rise above the mountains. Dinner at the excentric vegetarian restaurant in the next village. Then oh t stretch... One of the best hotels we stayed in during our trip to Spain. From the rooms' design to the detail-oriented and super firendly service of the owner, Anne Hunt, it was absolutely wonderful. Adding to that the picturesque views from the terrace and the wonderful trekking trails aroudn the village, it is the best vacation B&B I encountered during my... More

Casa Ana is beautifully set in Las Alpujarras in the Granada Province, in the small village of Ferreirola. I had come to relax and get away from a hectic life in London and I don't think I could have made a better choice. The location and views are simply lovely, the house and surroundings totally relaxing and peaceful. There are... More
