We booked into this hotel for a sporting event and was thinking we were getting a sports rate, as discussed over the phone. Later found out that we were paying $140 before taxes. When we went to check in , the front desk was closed. With a sign saying to go to room 22 or call # . After knocking... More

Stayed only one night, I was surprised and impressed at how clean the room was. The motel seemed quite busy but it was still quiet, although the walls did seem a bit thin and we occasionally heard our neighbour. We were there for a medical appointment and was offered a medical rate, which was great! A local from Vanderhoof told... More

I just called this hotel to ask what their room rates were and I was passed from one employee to another (I heard in the background he told the other to read off the room rates sheet to me). She then took the phone and asked what I wanted and then asked me to wait a minute and then came... More

I was a little afraid of what I might find as far as hotels in Vanderhoof. I travel a lot for work and I can honestly say that I have never stayed in a quieter room. Not only was it quiet, but it was clean and comfy and the staff were friendly. While maybe not the fanciest hotel in the... More

We stayed one night on a road trip from Prince Rupert to Vancouver. The room was clean and comfortable and quite modern but the fan in the bathroom can not be switched off. It was noisy and rattled all night long making sleep very difficult. In the morning when we tried to tell the owner?/manager after she had asked "how... More

This Hotel was a pleasant surprise following many hours of Travel. The space is generous. The bed is comfortable and the onsite restaurant was tasty. We had a bit of privacy out front that allowed us to sit outside and have a beverage.

This inn near the geographic center British Columbia is charming comfort. The rooms are comfortable. The restaurant is deluxe log cabin with a European charm. Breakfast is excellent - quality, fresh, delicious. If you get to this neck of the woods, stay at the North Country Inn.

Our stay here was great. Room 34, seems recently updated. Was very clean and quiet. We have stayed here for the past 5 years on our way back and forth from Prince Rupert and standard of cleanliness is consistent. Restaurant on site is very convenient and food is pretty good. If you need a place to stay, this is it!

This place is a pleasant surprise. Clean, well ordered, quiet, modern rooms in good condition. In this it's not what you expect in resource extraction country where the most frequent guests are guys working hard at often pretty dirty jobs. Check out the welded aluminum staircase up to a 2nd floor, the deck covered in exposed aggregate epoxy. It's a... More

Every time I go to Vanderhoof I stay at this motel. It is the cleanest one in town and it is off the highway. In the Summer, the rooms are hot even with their small air conditioning units. In the other seasons, it is a nice, clean quiet and warm motel. In the Winter, ask that they turn up the... More
