We stayed for 4 nights at Barra Mansa which was organised through Imagine LatinAmerica. What an amazing experience, we stayed in the guest house and were met by our host Daniel and guide. Trips were organised for us mornings and afternoons, the horse riding and canoeing trips were undoubtedly the best, unforgettable experience. Daniel is a great host, very hospitable... More

This is the most comfortable and lovely lodge that I have ever stayed. It has everything a traveller would need. Besides basic facilities, the accommodating owner Daniel and the dedicated staff, especially our guides have won themselves a gold medal. I would love to go back to Pantanal just to visit this lovely place if I have a chance.

Hello, We were hosted at the hotel. Following the recommendations, we decided to book and very disappointed. 1) We arrived at 13:30 at Campo Grande, following the recommendation of Pollyanna decided to go to the hotel at the same day. She said the trip 4-5 hours, she said we will reach in the evening'. we arrived at one o'clock in... More

Eliana, We feel sorry for your terrible review and impression about our place. At the same time, our feedbacks during the same days and at the whole season with other groups at the lodge were fantastic. Food, excursions, guides were horrible on your oppinion but for the other guests it has all been excellent. We treat all guests the same... More

We stayed for a couple of days in the Barra Mansa Lodge. We had a really great time we loved the excursions. The people where very helpfull and hearty and our guide was really good. The atmosphere in de lodge was always really relaxed. Our cabin was good and really close to spot some nice animals in the morning. But... More

I stayed in Barra Mansa for 4 days with my son in the beginning of April. It was a wonderful vacation. The Rondon family - father and son - were so generous and hospitable, the staff so welcoming and efficient, that one could not ask for more. This is a secluded Fazenda on the banks of Rio Negro - an... More

The travel to the Pantanal is fascinating, but (quite) expensive. When we are staying at a hotel that charges a premium price (similar to the “all inclusive” premium resorts), we may expect a premium service and installations. We would give the Barra Mansa a 5 (grade) for the Pantanal trips and 3 for the accommodations and food. We enjoyed the... More

I have been in July with my son and my husband at this hotel. It was a very different experience. Access by car is quite difficult, it is virtually impossible without a guide. Probably because of it is possible to admire a lush nature and see an amazing amount of animals! If you need king size bed, shower with central... More

We absolutely loved our week at Barra Mansa. It was like being invited to stay with friends rather than staying in a hotel. We loved the casual environment and the relaxed style - but realise that there is a lot of work behind the scenes to make everything run smoothly. Pollianna and Daniel made us feel really welcome. Our guide... More

There are not enough stars in the Tripadvisor universe to rate this lodge. This is a truly special place ran by very very special people. Daniel is an amazing host and the rest of the team were excellent. We were so well looked after every minute of every day. Our guide was a really nice guy and very proffesional; we... More

I spent 5 days at the Barra and felt like a guest in Guilhereme home rather then a tourist. .At the Barra when you see you first Crab Eathing Fox or other birds or animals, it is very special because it is a truely wild animal. I dont think there is anything worse than going on a willd life tour... More
