This resort was great for photographers. We went with a group and the facilities for photography were spacious. Each photographer had plenty of room, plugs etc. The dive opperation was amazing. Organized and helpful. The dive guides were great at finding everything on our must see list. We saw over 30 species of nudibranchs, frog fish, sea horses, crabs, shrimp,... More

Just returned from a week at the Crystal Blue doing a macro photo class with Blue Water Photo. We really didn't know what to expect as this was our first dive in the muck and my husband and I must admit we found it challenging and very rewarding. By the end of the week even I was spotting the smallest... More

Just returned from a 10-day macro photo workshop held at Crystal Blue Resort. I was very impressed by the level of service and by the value. Here are my detailed impressions: Room: Yes, there are some stairs, but so what? The room was very clean. The bathroom was much larger than I expected. The turndown service was great. I had... More

We decided that we needed to get out of Manila for the long weekend & get some diving done. We left at 9am so took us 3 hours to get there (no worries, knew it was a slow trip). Once we were there we were warmly welcomed & shown to our room. The rooms are a bit small but we... More

I dove with Crystal Blue during the "off" season (early August). I was 1 of 3 total divers in the property at the time. The weather was perfect, and the visibilities were good. After diving in Palau and Micronesia and seeing large animals, Anilao definitely gets my vote of "best" for having the most diverse, color and vibrance underwater! The... More

Thank you for the kind words, Diving in the off season can actually be some of the best diving all year. Limited guests at the resort and dive sites make for a very private trip. The Typhoon season creates a calm glassy water effect that makes for some great diving, We occasionally have guests that visit after a trip to... More

I've recently been at Crystal Blue Resort for 3 days. It was low season (end July) and few tourists were around. Me and my girlfriend have had really a good time. The resort is clean, the staff is very friendly and the quality of diving in Anilao (this was our first time in this area) is very good! We have... More

I have been to Crystal Blue on two occasions, and both proved the effort and positive attitude of the staff and Management. On this trip, I led a group of 14 Pacific Northwest divers, and they were not disappointed during their 10 day stay. Our transfers from Manila went off without a hitch. This is definitely a place for divers,... More

My wife and I stayed for 11 days at CBR and had a FANTASTIC time. We were collected from the airport and had a 3 1/2 hour drive in the traffic and arrived at 9pm to a delightful meal. The accommodation was comfortable and clean with AC, all the staff – office staff, dining staff, boat staff and diving staff... More

This resort is basic. The rooms are up on a hill - family rooms at the lower end. They all resemble a hotel room. Food was good - all served buffet style with several choices. Dive operation is somewhat unorganized. You never know when you are going to be driven back on the boat to the resort or dropped off... More
