We stayed here for a weekend as part of our dive certification with Manila Dive Academy. The rooms are basic but clean. There was plenty of bottled water provided and the A/C is good. The beds and linen were clean and comfy. The setting is gorgeous, with an amazing view of the sunset. You just need to walk out into... More

I live in Manila and Mabini, or Anilao, as people call the area, is practically my house reef. I usually do day trip from Manila, practically every week end during diving season. Last week end, I went for a week end with a friend who used to live here. We stayed at Acacia as other friends were there for the... More

Spent a week there recently whilst on course. Nice clean rooms, a good variety of food, really excellent service by all the staff there. The Dive Centre is well run and organized, very spacious and lots of rinse tanks and drying areas for the gear. I didnt rent gear but the tanks were in good condition and they were meticulous... As an avid diver and photographer, it's often hard to find an organization that understands the unique needs of this type of enthusiast. The Acacia Resort had it all... from top of line equipment like Halcyon backplates and Scubapro regulators, I had no reservations on using their 'house' equipment as I decided to embark on a short weekend getaway without... Diving was great. Very good service and all the Acacia team are very helpful. It is a great resort to stay in, even if you are not a diver. But the food is TERRIBLE. I was diving with a group who are pure photographers divers. We have our expensive equipment with us, left at the camera station. Each morning at... More

I've already been to this resort three times before and each time had been a (very) favorable and welcome experience - I've been meaning to write up something here for quite a while. Acacia is one of the newer Anilao resorts that cater to an upscale crowd. Anilao diving, for very many years, had thrived on the rustic feel a... More

I find Acacia more expensive than other resorts in Mabini. However, the food and the efficiency of staff are also better than places that we have stayed. The dive shop was well-equipped with everything that we needed. We had a extra small diver and Acacia staff reserved the equipment for us and we didn't have issues with sizing, etc. After... More

Acacia manages to combine a well laid out, well run and cosy resort with a great dive operation and probably the best food in Anilao. The staff are fantastic from the moment you arrive to the time you leave. The house reef is average, but most of the main Anilao dive site are a short boat trip away while boat... More

Clean well run hotel, beautiful location, food was tasty and plentiful if not exactly a la carte and staff were really welcoming, diving was well organised and overall a great experience and great value, would happily go again.

A group of us stayed here in April, mainly for scuba diving. We stayed in 3 of their Ocean View Deluxe rooms and we fell in love with the rooms. The room was spacious, had two huge Queen beds with connecting balconies, table and chairs in the room as well as on the balcony and it also had a very... More
