As many have said already, this property is very basic. Rooms are quite old, and with very simple furnishings. Think foam mattresses, etc. At the time of this trip it was just after a typhoon, so some of the amenities were not working (wifi, hot water). They can't be faulted for this, and did have a generator all night for... More

Planet Dive has become my go-to dive resort since I moved to Manila. Having tried several competitors previously PD has earned my repeat business due to: 1. it's location near the better dive sites, secret bay, secret garden and the reefs of Sombrero island 2. a good house reef (which you can dive for free after 2 boat dives) 3.... I recently made a weekend trip to Planet Dive with my two sons, purely for diving. We've been in Anilao before, but in other resort. I guess it is needless to say, that Anilao is one of the premium spots for diving. 30+ sites within striking distance of banga gives you plenty to choose from, and reason to come back.... More

Spent 3 days/2 nights here and my entire stay was very pleasant. The buffet approach when it comes to the meals is a very nice touch especially for divers who spends the entire day going in and out of the water. The resort staff are very nice and accommodating. Rooms are clean and spacious. As for the SCUBA center, it... More

We've been to a few resorts in Anilao, Mabini but Planet Dive is where we keep coming back every Lenten season. For one, it houses one of the best marine protected reefs in the country that guests from nearby resorts hire boats to see the Twin Rocks, which is right in front of Planet Dive. Buffet seafood is great. Nothing... More

2 friends and i were here over Easter break. We only came here to dive (we stayed at a resort close by). The instructors were fantastic, the resort is well maintained, the staff are extremely friendly. A special thank you to Mr Bob Rivera. Since we dint have an underwater camera the resort was nice enough to let us borrow... More

We chose Planet Dive for three reasons: we LOVE having access to a house reef were we can shore dive, we liked the option of having a boat all to ourselves (as opposed to going with a group of other divers, which sounds antisocial, but we tend to go more slowly than others and don't like the chaos of a... Spent one night there on our trip to the Philippines. The room was basic but adequate. The food was good. The scenery both above and below the water was great. We only snorkeled but given the proximity to Twin Rocks that was sufficient.

This review is for diving only. I tried to make a reservation for diving the morning of arrival. I didn't get confirmation during the day and hoped that my reservation for diving was received. We had a long drive from Manila, as there was either highway construction or the mountain roads were narrow at points. When we arrived, the gate... More

Planet Dive trip advisor report Why we chose this resort: First and foremost, we enjoy doing shore dives on our own at the house reefs of resorts we visit. We are avid divers with about 300 dives to our name. For this reason, after researching on the Anilao dive sites and resorts, we chose this resort for its proximity to... More
