“2nd stay and just getting better”

This is mine and my wife's second stay at bridgefoot. We first stayed shortly after the owners moved in last year. The owners have put there own mark on the house and make you feel so welcome. The rooms are clean and roomy and the breakfasts are excellent, also a nice touch is being able to have traditional afternoon tea... More

My boyfriend and i stayed for one night and had a lovely stay! The room was huge as was the bed and possibly the most comfortable i have ever slept in, the cottage is 17th century so it is decorated tastefully to suit the age of the property. We were charged £75 to stay the night in this tatty, uncomfortable house in need of a complete overhaul . The plaster on the walls was cracked and irregular, Wood chip / anaglypta was everywhere with folds and overlaps as if it had been put up in the dark. Excellent accommodation for our 2 night stay, Breakfasts to die for, which sets you up for the day. Picturesque location in a friendly village. Ron & Lindsey make you very welcome, nothing is too much trouble.

We really enjoyed our 2 night stay in a spacious room. It was good value for money and as non meat eaters we really appreciated the offer of an alternative to meat at breakfast. Our hosts were really friendly and welcoming and the breakfast conversations added to our enjoyment.

Excellent place to stay. Warm friendly atmosphere and seriously good food. Classy yet accessable to all. Pricing very fair, and located in a lovely spot. Definite for another visit
