Pickering , Whitby and Scarborough all within easy drives ( or take the steam... More

We have recently returned from our first stay at this lovely guesthouse and received a warm and friendly welcome from the owners. The building dates from the 17th century and is clean and comfortable. Our bedroom was a good size, had new bed linen and fluffy towels. Downside was the small ensuite which had a small shower and toilet and... More

we arrived here on Sunday afternoon too early to book in, so after parking the car was quite prepared to go off to explore the village before returning later to book in. But as we got out of the car the front door opened and there stood Lindsey with a big smile on her face and saying are you coming... More

Our three nights at Bridgefoot House were very hospitable. Comfortable room with en-suite in a house with quirky characteristics, set in the lovely village of Thornton-Le-Dale, with a number of quaint shops, tea rooms and pubs. Close to Dalby Forest for outdoor activities and easily accessible to Whitby, Pickering, Scarborough etc. Ron and Lindsey were exceptional hosts, happy to oblige... More
