Initially, we planned to go to Puerto Galera but as per the bad weather, boat trips were cancelled. We opt not to go back to Manila and decided to go to Laiya instead. While we were driving to San Juan, I browsed thru facebook some resorts and found this one. The resort is fair enough. Rates are affordable. Although, as... More

We went there as a family, my husband, son 12 and daughter 7. We stayed for 2 days and 3 nights for P 12,650, food inclusive . The beach area was really small, flanked by two boats (those were the partition for the neighbor resorts). The food was okay, loved that there was food waiting for us everytime we came... More

We went to Punto Miguel to unwind and enjoy the beach. We were very excited to go here because the photos on their website are very beautiful. But when we arrived at the place, lo and behold, no one was thrilled to be there! We didn't feel any excitement at all. The room that was assigned to us, Villa 2,... More

We went to Punto Miguel Dec 2012 with the extended family as it was chosen by my aunt since it was one of the cheaper resorts in Laiya , Batangas. Here are my insights about the resort. Location = getting to Laiya isn't that hard but from the main road to the resort is like going on an obstacle course.... More

I didn't believe previous reviews, thought we should give it the benefit of the doubt...but we should have listened. Lo and behold, it was a nightmare! The resort asked for advance full payment for confirmed reservations but when we arrived there, there were already a group of guests claiming our reserved villa 1. But since we paid in full, we... Punto Miguel White Sands in Laiya is only one of the MANY beach resorts housed on the beach front of the Laiya Beach. I found the resort online, and though it took a few tries to contact them, once you talked to them, they will accommodate you every step of the way. The place it self is not that grand.... More

Paraiso de Miguel was a very nice, even better than the pictures. I liked it coz of the privacy and the view. Amenities were ok, I think they're undergoing renovations now since this resort is seldom used by guests, more of a private resort by the owner.. Honestly, I like it better even though the beach was not sandy, it... More

Pictures looked great but the amenities are terrible. You would see spider webs inside the rooms. Restrooms are also not good. People there are nice though but the entire place is very bad and the price seemed to be positioned among the good resorts in that area. By the way, the road leading to this resort is bad. Multiple humps... More

If you ever chance upon the website of Punto Miguel white Sands in Mabini, Batangas (Anilao), don't even consider it. It is priced like a resort in Laiya but the facilities are old and not even maintained. The aircondition when turned on spewed black dust and was so noisy throughout the night. The beddings were old and the mattress was... More
