Great Hotel just of the bridge to the Flores island. Ideal situated with view of the lake and the island, and just a short walk over the bridge. OK rooms spacious and clean, nothing special but with great view. Great food is served and friendly staff, English is a problem

Coming from our visit in Belize, we were told NOT take any pix of anyone in uniform. Kinda makes you feel a little uneasy. But this hotel eased those concerns. It overlooks a beautiful lake (although rm 208 overlooks part of a roof below :-( ). It was quiet & clean & staff was friendly. Food was good esp breakfast.... More

Trip started off badly as the hotel did not honour the reservation I had made through Booking.com. I appreciate that this was over the Easter period and therefore might have been a challenge. The star of the show was Juan at the reception. He really solved all of my problems by finding me another hotel. Did offer me breakfast and... More

Rooms are fine and clean but nothing special. The pool area is nice, which is right by the restaurant. Breakfast buffet has loads of fresh fruit and a selection of cereals/meats and juices (including watermelon!). Located right next to the bridge to Flores, a good walk.

The hotel sits on the shores of the lake overlooking the city of Flores, but in our case the view from the window was less enthralling. We looked out onto a modern shopping mall and a funfair both of which were very noisy. When they eventually quietened down we were kept awake by one the of noisiest air conditioning units... More

Our room was on the third floor (that is, American calculation but second and highest floor in British parlance) at the front of the hotel which is actually the back. In any case it overlooked a noisy street and a vacant piece of ground and not the lake and we were presumably put here because our tour company had not... More

We stayed here 2 nights with a group. The rooms were basic but clean. The views of the lake were great, and it was an easy walk to the island of Flores. It was a secure location to stay while in the area to visit Tikal. The meal service for our group was excellent. The breakfast buffet had great fruit,... More

I just want to say thank-you to the wonderful staff especially Carina who made our stay so wonderful. The hotel is simple and elegant. Most importantly, the hotel is clean and enjoyable. The breakfast and lunch are very well made. The pool is wonderful, but keep in mind it is NOT heated. So don't jump in unless you have a... More

We stayed here for one night in order to visit the Mayan site of Tikal nearby. It is right on the lake side and fairly new. The rooms are modern, not very big but very clean. We had a small balcony overlooking the lake over to the island of Flores. The room had a TV, phone, glasses and bottled water.... More

Spent two nights here in November as a base for viewing Tikal. The pool deck and restaurant area are open overlooking the lake and the island of Flores. It is an attractive setting. The food in the restaurant was OK, better at dinner than breakfast. Our room was small and basic with a tiny balcony that was adjacent to a... More
