We stayed as a group in one of the apartments and it was just the perfect solution. We could experience the benefits of the hotel along with the benefits of the apartment. Apartment The apartment was absolutely spotlessly clean, a great size and with everything we needed. It was absolutely perfect except for 2 things: 1. The wifi was not... More

We spent three nights in this charming hotel, including New Year's Night. EVERYTHING was excellent: the food, the service, the staff. The rooms are really nice, and in very good condition, though it was a bit worm at night, and due to the minus 14 i did not dare to left the window open. There were a lot of programmes... More

Room, hotel and surroundings: absolutely OK, actually better than what I thought after seeing the photos on their homepage. (But we too had no light in the bathroom, but there was another source of light at the mirror, so we didn't mind.) Kitchen: mainly mediocre, foods are whether oversalted/-seasoned or without any taste, pasta and vegetables are cooked not al... More

We spent only one night in the hotel. The best part, half hour after we arrived the light in our bathroom went out. We told thi to the receptionist, who gave us a bulb and said "I hope this will be okay" We were shocked. She thought we should change the bulb in the lamp! This is a 4 star... More

We were in Szalajka Liget Hotel twice in previous year. We haven't spent more then two and three days with and even without our kids. Those people, who like the nature, beautiful hills and woods, and last but not least the silence and peace, will find convenient and suitable this place. There are a lot of opportunities to entertainment, sports... More

We just spent 2 days at Szalajka Liget with two kids, 2&5 y.o. If our kids are happy we're happy, and they were. There was a kid pool, playing room with quaity toys, animation for kids, great food for kids. The only thing I couldn't understand the poor quality fruit juices at the breakfast. In a 4* hotel less than... More

We stayed in a two bedroom bungalow which had lovely views over the hills. It was clean (except a few cobwebs in the toilet), pretty basic but more than enough space for two adults and two children. The hotel doesn't have too many facilities but Szilvasvarad is full of things to do, so the hotel was exactly what we wanted.... More

We booked our stay through a timeshare exchange. There were 4 of us, although we could have fitted 6 by using the living-room folding bed. The kitchen corner is small and not very well equipped, but we had no problem adjusting our cooking to it; one night, we even roasted sausages on a barbecue fireplace right outside the house. The... The hotel originally was not a wellness hotel, therefore its's wellness sections is quite small. So if someone would like to travel there only for wellness purposes, should select a different hotel. However if you go there also for hiking, or enjoy the nature around, this hotel is just excellent. It is basically right next to the national park of... More

The hotel consists of main building with reception, restaurant and spa center with pool and several houses/bungalows. We had a house for 4 persons – very nice and comfortable. Two bedrooms, bathroom with a window, sitting room and a kitchenette and terrace. We had half pension and the meals were good and various. The pool was not very big but... More
