We stayed for one night only on our way between UK and Bavarian Alps. We arrived a little late for eating and had weary kids but took a table in the restaurant nonetheless. We were given drinks and menus and then left for around 30 mins, by which time we had decided not to eat but just give the children... More

In the village of Weibersbrunn, you are not spoilt for choice this is one of maybe 3 hotels but what makes it good is the staff always with a smile and always willing to help. A little pricey but then everything in Europe is. The hotel has a decent breakfast. The room is not too big but manageable for a... More

Nice room with balcony, had a beer on arrival on lovely terrace in sunshine. Good dinner, reasonable choice and price, great breakfast next morning. Friendly and efficient staff, plenty of parking and easy access from motorway. Will definitely stay again.

Country/farm doo-dads adorn the place with funky glass blood looking droplets hanging from the ceiling. Our meals had basic ingredients made well ample portion but in my mind overpriced. It has modernized facility for large parties/gatherings. Service personnel were active, fast, a bit stand-offish, but they had a party to wait on. Not an intimate dinner location but can't knock... The location is ideal for travellers like me who ferry up and down between Brussels & Budapest regularly. The hotel is located at about 900 Km starting from Budapest, minutes from the Autobahn but in the middle of a huge forested area, the Spessart. Big parking, a petrol station close by to fill up the car when you start again... More

We did two overnight stops here travelling between Czech and Belgium. The place is nothing special but friendly, service OK, rooms OK, nice garden, restaurant very bavarian, breakfast generous, fantastic quality/price ratio (around 200 EUR for 2 plus kid, room dinner breakfast), reservation through the internet same day, no penalty cancellation. Conclusion : if you need to sleep somewhere on... More
