I visited Jaldapara with my son, and right from the beginning, the owner, Mr. Biswajeet helped us out. From the bookings to the safaris, to, even at the last minute, arranging vehicles for us, we couldnt have managed it quite as effectively on our own! The lodge itself is located just off the highway, but once inside, is peaceful, and... More

The Jaldapara jungle is just behind this camp. And if you are one to wake early you will enjoy the sun rise at about 6 am over the jungle and streaming into the camp through the fire tree. And if Mr Biswajit Saha can be convinced you can jump the fence and go for a walk through the jungle to... More

The title might remind you of jatayu's latest book, as our team of 12 literally went for a childhood adventure !! It was simplest of all yet had bone chilling excitement. I had visited North Bengal several times for my concerts yet never had a chance to take the thrill. And Jaldapara Jungle Camp was responsible for it. It has... More

I kept the Title incomplete to have your attention. Me and my wife stayed at Jaldapara Jungle Camp from 16th to 18th of Sept 2014. We booked the Delux cottage for Rs 1200 (plus 10% service charge). If you are looking for a silent place to stay then this is the resort of your choice. Bathroom was clean with hot... More

We were here for a 4 night stay and thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.... The watch tower, loft bed in the room, food and attitude of the team were all great! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place to nature lovers who are looking for basic comfort and great forest experience.

Visited there on may last year. Excellent hospitality i have infact never been to a place where people are so friendly. There is no cheating or escalating prices which is often found in tourist places. If you want to take a break from professional life to a life of simplicity and serenity this is the place to be. Was on a sudden trip to dooars, so its obvious Holong Bungalow was not available, so tried this resort which is in proximity to the jungle and it was fulfilled me with all sort of feelings required to stay close to the nature. Wonderfully crafted resort by a true nature lover Mr Biswajeet. You can throw your responsibility to him... More
