Travelled March/April 2012 (this being our 5th time staying at the St James Club in Antigua). Every time we return to this lovely resort it just seems to get better and better! Our small party stayed in the Reefdeck Rooms which give you fantastic unspoilt views from your balcony of the Atlantic Ocean - the rooms are both beautifully furnished... More

My wife and I just spent a lazy week chilling out doing nothing. St James club ticked all the boxes for us, no hazizle. We had a beech front room on the 2nd floor, room was sizeable and clean. Food was good, wide variety, need to book your Resturant each morning. Dinner one night in piccolo mondo is worth it,... More

Resort is very nice, Must do all inclusive. and must do the sit down dinners, they are so much better than the buffets. the quality of the beach and water are not that great for antigua. Jolly harbor is much nicer. Stay for the food. Must do piccolo mondo on at least one night.

We have made several visits to St James over the last few years and retain our view that this quiet, unspoiled corner of Antigua is still our preferred option. Despite going when it is 'peak season' the property is so large that it never feels crowded. The villas are a delight and if your budget stretches to it, this is... More

We are retired timeshare owners who were happy to trade into this resort. After seeing the vast variety of experiences people have reported here on TripAdvisor, I wanted to add our perspective. It appears that the type of room and its location are an important factor in one’s enjoyment of this resort, so I’d advise you to ask lots of... More

We loved the St James Club. So lovely to wake to a view of diving birds and the sound of the waves, in a room right on the sand. For us it was the perfect place to relax and unwind in a simple style, lots of lying around and eating. The food was simple and fresh, plenty of places to... More

St.James-Pros and cons When I saw the photos of St. James Club I thought we had found the Caribbean Shangri-la we’ve been searching for- what a paradisiacal setting! Our requirements: A clean and quiet hotel; a great beach with shady trees; good food. Ideally, a non-stop flight from NY and Antigua has it! We booked for a week and my... More

We spent five nights at the St. James Club. Overall, we had a really nice time. The resort is very well kept, beautifully landscaped and manicured, with people constantly cleaning up, doing repair work, etc. As a previous contributor pointed out, almost every restroom I went into was cleaned with supplies available. The property is quite big, but we felt... More

We had a wonderful time at this resort. We were there in mid January and stayed in one of the rooms overlooking Coco's Beach. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the view was gorgeous. This resort is situated on a south peninsula and the property itself is lovely, with manicured landscaping and gorgeous lookout points to admire the spectacular... More
