Rooms here are large and reasonably good value at around $12 for a big double room. Forget the view – a large building in front of the current hotel blocks that. A plus, beside the price and room size, is the little restaurant which does still have a lake view (and a front-of-house guy who delivers good service). It is... More

A new wing is being build so the place resembles a construction site. The bungalow that we occupied had a totally inadequate air-conditioner and the bathroom needs a major upgrade. It's best aspect was the lakeside restaurant, despite the limited menu.

They are rebuilding their new hotel right in front of the existing one. When I arrived, he put me in a bungalow because the hotel was full. He said it actually was an upgrade which I wouldn't have known since I hadn't seen hotel. Prebooked at $12 p/night but of course at checkout, she phoned owner because I was in... More

This Hotel in Ban Lung is not exactly in the centre of town: but beeing near the lake it is very nicely situated. The staff are really very friendly and helpful and the manager talks a very good english. The rooms are very nice and clean, the beds/matresses very good. I would definately go back here if I am back... More

Our $20 a/c bungalow is of good size and clean, the bathroom is roomy with plenty of bench space and hooks, it also has a large bath tub which seems to be a rare feature in Cambodia. The plus is the outdoor undercover sitting area overlooking the lake, excellent for relaxing after jungle trek. The restaurant also offers pleasant lakeview... More

The upside: The room was very nice, large and clean. However: There is no restaurant in the Hotel, and only one small hut on the street. It is way out of town (but not necessarily quiet), so you must have transportation for every meal or errand, which can get quite expensive. Also, the lady at the reception repeatedly told me... More

We stayed 1 night in Chheng Lok Hotel and moved to Lakeside Hotel (by the same management) for 2 nights after that. We took the standard room in Chheng Lok Hotel and it is quite reasonably priced at USD 10 for 2 single beds, cable tv, WIFI and hot shower. Room is comfortable and clean, however, the toilet pipe is... More

I was pleased to stumble upon this place during a walk around the lake. Functions like a true hotel with all the amenities: cable TV, provides towels and toiletries. The rooms are large and clean with fan or A/C options. Staff is fluent in English and helpful. I ate a delicious meal in the lakeside restaurant, prices are fair in... More

We stayed here for 2 nights then went on a trek with the rangers at the department of the environment for 2 days & 1 night, then stayed another night at the hotel. What made the hotel special was the genuine friendliness of the staff. When we informed them we were taking a trek directly with park rangers, the response... More

I stayed at this hotel as part of a tour group, and the hotel was prepared for us and very organized. The owner was available to assist all guests and she spoke very good English. I booked a VIP room/ bungalow which was excellent value at $30 US per night. The bed in the bungalow was comfortable and the aircon... More
