Had a good stay at the Terres Rouges. The decor and layout of the place is really nice. The pool area is probably the highlight which is set out beautifully. The restaurant is excellent and does brilliant French food. My only complaint is the place is overpriced really. Not so much the rooms, but the food and drink. I understand... More

Banlung itself is a frontier town with limited tourist infrastructure so one has to bear this in mind. The Terres Rouges is probably the best place to stay there, having said that I found the property a tiny bit in need of TLC. The beds were rather hard and so were the pillows and our room was dark in need... More

My boyfriend and I visited Ratanakiri in January 2015. Coming from Siem Reap we were looking for a more authentic side ofCambodia. Terres Rouges proved to be the perfect retreat. Our villa was appointed beautiful with high ceilings, Khmer furnishings, a soaking tub and best of all an outdoor shower. Food at the restaurant was fantastic. We rented a motorbike... More

Of all the places I was in Cambodia, this was the best. The rooms were well priced and super clean. The staff waited on your every need and the facilities were top notch. Food was cheap but, over the top good. Everything on the menu was cooked to perfection. There is no other place I could imagine staying than here... More

Spent one night here. Beautiful garden setting. Rustic garden rooms with nice antique furniture and tasteful wall art. Effective A/C and ceiling fan. Lovely 2nd floor restaurant and bar overlooking a scenic lake. Enjoyed the free breakfast there. Wish we'd tried it for dinner last night. Good WiFi.

We stayed for three nights during new year and it is a nice hotel, overlooking the lake and the property has very nice gardens. The rooms are all different with interesting art and antiques. The food was just okay but it is difficult during New Year with no staff, so we will give them that. Well worth staying there when... More

Service excellent and lodges really comfortable. Very friendly staff.Reasonable size and nice pool Plenty of towels and hot water.Food good quality and not expensive.but room cost a bit expensive for such a distant resort. Similar hotel in Phnom Penh was quite a bit cheaper

Dear guest, It is precisely because we are "such a distant resort" that we cannot compete with the prices in the capital ! All the things and equipment we use have to be shipped all the way from Phnom Penh (560 km), when they break down they have to be sent both ways for repair, because of shortage of local... More

This is a slightly difficult review to write. On the one hand, there is no question that TerresRouges is an impressive edifice with a massive wooden central upper dining room/bar area. The rooms and (semi plein air) bathrooms are large too, if a little rustic, and well spaced out in the lush greenery, with a lot of dark wood and... More

Dear guest, I cannot say how disapointed and saddened I am by your comment... Last time we spoke you were verry happy with our service, saying that we were doing "a jolly good job" even considering the world's best palaces where you had stayed ! And now we are overpriced... Next time please check the prices of your hotel before... More

I stayed there with my girlfriend at the end of January 2015 for two nights. The staff is very nice and attentive to every needs. Stayed there 2 nights, 7 & 8 Feb 2015. This place came enthusiastically recommended by 2 different friends who are tour leaders, who thought we could use some pampering after the difficulties of being in the bush for almost 2 weeks. We have been living in Cambodia and know that you can get a lot for less than half of... More

Dear guest, The central building of Terres Rouges has just undergone a complete restoration, the workers left a month ago... A good mattress is a firm one, every doctor will confirm that, the one you slept on has been placed on the bed about a month ago. If you use the shower for more than an hour and then do... More
