This is a good clean average hotel. It is a busy place. Wireless internet is available for a fee. It is similar to a well appointed Marriott. Room is quiet. Nothing great about the views. It is walking distance to the Mall but only go in the daytime. The Mall has nice shops, an African Market and restaurants. more

The meals in the Hotel reastaurant could be quite expensive...insted I would suggest to try 'Spur' - a restraunt with offering delicious steaks the Afrikan way. (but no beer served in the restaurant) more

Spent one week at the Rosebank. Excelent hotel, but a bit too hyped and plasticy. Huge, open reception, with 4 (or 5?) isolated check-in areas in a semi-circle. The lighted plastic with marble effect made me wonder I did they not go for real marble! Be aware of the right-handside tower; older, smaller rooms, cheaper, more akin of a three... more

Everyone made you feel like a celebrity. The hotel is very classy and what wonderful managers, they were very accomadating. The rooms are fantastic, the restaurant superb and hanging out at the bar is the best. The drinks very reasonable. I wish I could go back tommorow. I have traveled all over the world and never felt compelled to give... more

Wonderful hotel, centrally located. Lots of construction going on in this area - that is a bit of a negative. Quirky in terms of its styling - fear it might date a bit quickly (I have found similar styling in most other new johannesburg hotels - some might even regard it as kitch!). more

The Rosebank is situated in a nice area however pending on your room your view might suck. I was on the 3rd or 4th floor and had a view into what seemed like a block of flats/apartments. However a plus is its a walking distance from the zone and mall of rosebank but we were told it is ot safe... more

Stayed one night at beginning of tour with group. Good, clean, spacious rooms, all the facilities one would expect from a city hotel Dinner - a buffet, (but a la carte available if required), was extremely good value because of the fall in the Rand against the £ Sterling or Euro (although probably less so against the Dollar which has... more

Booked blind thro a travel agent and we were very surprised to find a genuine 4star hotel complete with very friendly staff, clean rooms, good food a very pleasant surprise. Booked trips (in limo) through hotel, reasonable prices and knowledgeable driver. Big shopping mall with cinema up the road. Opposite police station. Safe, high class area Robert G Davis more

Overall, a pleasant stay at a good hotel. Convenient location in good neighborhood, close to Mall and Craft Market. Friendly, helpful staff. Good breakfast buffet, but avoid the dining room for dinner. Service was the worst I have experienced anywhere. Could not get anyone to take our drink orders. No one would bring a menu, so we finally settled for... more
