The hotel is clean, cosy and beautiful. The only problem we had, was the attitude of the owner. The location and staff made it all to a nice stay. The food was not very cheap for what you get, but the performance and facility is beautiful. They serve also a good beer from the region. The room was very nice... More

Clean, cozy and a perfect setting, ideal for a weekend away. Good food, reasonable prices. Friendly staff. You have everything you need. The village is the book capital of Wallonia with 5-6 lovely book shops with books in English, French, Flemish and German. There is a lovely raspberry distillery nearby which has delicious jams and jellies, worth a visit!

This is a nice hotel in a small village, the rooms are small but clean and you have everything you need. The staff is very kind and helpful. We booked a table for diner and the food was very good. Breakfast was very tasty and more than enough. There was free wifi and parking facilities.

nice small hotel with very clean rooms and well equiped. The rooms are rather small but its moren than sufficient to sleep. Breakfast was fine and more than enough. The only issue that for us is important is that the bar/restaurant allready closes at 21u45; thats much to urly we think.

We spent one night in the family room. It was spacious, modern and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. We booked a table in the hotel restaurant and we're very pleased with the food. The breakfast was fine, some have commented on the fact that there is nothing warm on offer which I first found a surprise. However, the buffet... More

stayed one night in Le Fournil. The rooms have been renovated and are very clean and well equiped. I agree that they are not big but for a place to sleep it is more than sufficient. So, I didn't have a problem with it. Unfortunally, I couldn't taste the restaurant as I had another engagement but the dishes on the... More

This is the place to stay in Redu. The rooms are fine and clean and reasonably priced. The restaurant serves traditional French/Belgian food that's not too fancy, but tasty and interesting. The only downside was the disappointing breakfast, which offered poor quality croissants (fat, not butter). I tend to agree with others who comment on surly staff; otherwise very good.

The only reason you'd visit Redu is because it's a booktown, as far as I know the only booktown in Belgium. If you're a Tin Tin devotee, you're in luck; there's an entire shop dedicated to him. Otherwise, unless you're looking for books in French or Flemish, it's a complete waste of time. The 20 or so "bouquinistes" (book dealers)... More
