We struggled to find much choice for a stopover close to the autoroute between Le Havre and Abbeville. The Relais d'Etretat at Bolbec fitted the bill well, being well-situated - two and a half hours - for a mid-morning ferry or Eurotunnel at Calais. Agree with many previous reviews: the drab exterior and blockhouse interior with rooms opening off echoing... More

I spoke to the owner and suggested he should smarten up the entrance as it did the hotel no favours, he said he intended to do it but had not been owner long and had spent all his time and effort (and money) on the inside. AND IT SHOWED ! The inside was super smart ,the staff were great and... More

I can only say positive things about the Hotel as they were so helpful when we arrived as our car had broken down and was taken here by the local garage for two nights until it was fixed. As many have said initial perceptions were not great on arrival and feared the worse! However, the Hotel was great for a... More

We were rather dubious as we drove through the industrial district and up to this very drab building, but the interior was a real surprise. The restaurant was buzzing, the staff were welcoming and the room, although rather small, was clean and good value for money. The food was really well prepared and delicious. Breakfast was also good, with egg,... More

This hotel is classed as a 2*, however we found it to be deserving of more. Room: The room itself was basic, but it contained everything we needed to have a comfortable stay. The room was incredibly clean as was the ensuite, however it was quite small. Free wifi, the television and tea and coffee were nice touches. Restaurant: The... More

On arrival at this hotel our first instinct was to drive away! However, once inside I found this hotel to be perfectly adequate for a budget hotel, the outside is somewhat drab and dreary, in need of a coat of paint and some general maintenance, but inside it is quite comfortable with a very good bar and restaurant, the rooms... Stayed here recently on two separate occasions. First stop was on a week day and was quite good. Had upstairs room at back of Hotel which was nice and quiet. Room basic but bed comfortable and clean bedding. Restaurant very good although service was slow. Second stay was on a Saturday night. The Hotel appears to put up Spanish workman... More

Fairly basic rooms, but did have tea and coffee in the room. The staff were really friendly, and spoke English. The restaurant was very good, we had dinner and breakfast. The surroundings are also good, especially if you have children, as they can run about in the garden.

Easy to find off the N15 South of Bolbec but easy access to and from the A29. The exterior looked a little tired but inside it was spotless and cheery. Very comfortable, quiet room, overlooking the valley to the rear of the hotel; our one caveat would be there was nowhere to sit in the room apart from on the... More

My husband and I stayed for two nights while researching his family history in Bolbec. The room was rather small and basic but adequate and clean. Tea and coffee making facilities and TV were provided. The shower was good with plenty of hot water. We dined both nights in the restaurant and found the food exceptionally good for a hotel of...
