We stayed just for one night for the World Superbikes, two double rooms booked. What a warm welcome, cozy rooms with everything you good think of, checked in by Sally and nothing too much trouble. Bill later introduced himself and was very helpful and informative. We got up early and had the most fabulous breakfast cooked to order, so much... More

We required a hotel for our visit to Alton Towers from London and found this hotel searching Google (www.riversidefarmhotel.co.uk). We booked by phone and met Bill who operates the hotel. Bill was kind, checked us in and showed us to our room. I asked what time we had to check out and we were told not to worry. Bill and... More

I stayed over for an engagement party that was located in Chelleston, about a 2 minute trip away. Located over the road from an excellent pub that does 2-for-1 on meals and next to a beautiful river with a bridge over it. The rooms were lovely little converted out-buildings, finished to an excellent standard with modern conveniences, right down to... More

These converted animal sheds consist of 2 rooms each. A bedroom with ensuite and small lounge. Some of the suites have been modernised but we paid the same price ie £72 for one that had not been modernised. The owners are unbelievably friendly and helpful and the cooked breakfast was superb. I was a little disappointed that there was no... More

The choice of words here "Converted animal sheds" are not well chosen and not at all appropriate. "Stable conversions" would have been more accurate and less controversial. Also, since this review, we have fully refurbished the apartment (bungalow) and built on two additional large executive suites (with double and secondary glazing for sound proofing) More
