We went to this pub following a visit to Stension Marina and the place is clean and plenty of tables. Staff excellent took us to a table straight away. Food very nice and reasonably priced. Very clean and nice décor with atmosphere. Would recommend.

We where seated on a round table so there was plenty of room for our party of 4 adults and 1 child under 5 years old. The pub has just recently been refurbished to make it look clean and modern. On arrival there where very few other customers In the pub (maybe around another 6 or 7 people) but we... More

A newly refurb pub with a huge beer garden set by the river was a nice surprise. Menu was good but needs more variety and portion sizes are on the small side. The staff were brilliant very helpful and considering we were eating across the lane in the garden service was excellent.

We visited with older family members at their suggestion. Interior nicely decorated and the large space has been divided up well to create smaller eating areas. Huge car park so no danger of not being able to find a space. Nice views of the river under Swarkestine Bridge. Decent range of cask ales including Marstons Pedigree. Menu a little limited... More

Went as a family tonight. The refers is nice and a big improvement and looks a quality job and gives nice atmosphere. The portions were all small but my biggest issue was that the half rack and full rack of ribs are a con an misrepresented. Pigs (pork ribs) have 28 ribs so a full rack is 14 ribs and... More

Walking in to the new refurbed 'Crewe and Harpur' was a pleasure! You have the look down to a tea! To compliment the look it'd be great to have a nice tasty meal! The staff were great, friendly, courteous and very prompt so they fit in well with the new look.I won't expand on the food : but the place was great

Service was brilliant, especially Mitch! He was very welcoming, informative & ensured we had everything we needed. The food was lovely, although a bit more expensive than the previous menu which was 241 (& a better menu) but overall a lovely meal.

Went here yesterday as keen to try after the refurb. The place looks lovely & the addition of the childrens area is a nice touch. Staff very friendly & welcoming but unfortunatly the food is not as nice. After being informed no sunday diners left after 5 mins of ordering opted for the beef pie same as partner , this... More

Visited yesterday for Mothers Day. Beautifully decorated, amazing food, and friendly attentive staff. What more do you need. We last visited a few weeks before Christmas. What a vast improvement on the old 241 menu. The chicken oven impressed the kids greatly.
