We stayed here for just one night en route from Paris to Avignon. So wish we had spent more time here. The owners are lovely, The food stunning and the house white was great. Very comfortable rooms/beds. Lovely looking pool and gardens and plenty of space to park. Nothing not to like at all. Also just up the road are... More

We stayed 2 nights while driving from Costa Blanca to Portsmouth in mid August. We knew it is well located for exploring the eastern side of the Dordogne, and St Denis les Martel, 5 minutes south is very convenient and a pretty town. It is just 20 minutes north of Carennac, which is a 'must see' village! The charming couple... More

Very good position close to Turenne and Collonges - beautiful villages. And easy access back on to autoroute north/south. Hotel was modern, clean, fresh and a dip in the immaculate swimming pool was welcome on a hot afternoon. We regret not eating in the hotel as everyone has recommended the owner's cooking - he is also very attentive and welcoming... More

We were here three nights and truly enjoyed every minute. The rooms were very clean, the only complaint would be the smell of the new sisal carpet throughout which kind of had a barn type smell. The owners were very friendly and I would highly recommend eating here. The owner prepared a fantastic meal comparable to something you'd get at... More

We spent four days here as a party of six attending a wedding in the area. It is an excellent family-run auberge with clean, comfortable rooms, and a pleasant terrace / pool area. The lift for my Mother made life easy too. It is well located just a few minutes for Turenne and Collonges la Rouge, and is a great... More

We stayed here one night on en route between Chenancou and St Cirq. It's hard to get to if you haven't got a car. But I think that's the beauty of it! It's sits on rolling hills and has very modern rooms. Rooms are small but sufficient The host husband & wife, and the meal were highlights. The husband speaks... More

My wife and I stayed one night here en route south. It's a lovely small hotel, nice rooms, clean, comfortable and welcoming. The resaurant is fantastic, with gourmet French food at a reasonable price. We would definately stay again.

Made to feel at home at once, owners and staff very friendly. Very good cuisine, we ate in every evening (except Sunday evening, restaurant closed). Rooms were spotlessly clean. Although quite close to the main road, we were never bothed by noise.

The people who run this place were very helpful indeed. They handled our booking clearly and efficiently. They were v friendly and welcoming on arrival, and during our stay. The rooms were clean and newly furnished. The shower worked well and plenty of hot water was always available. Free wifi throughout and a free internet terminal in reception. The pool... More

We spent 3 nights in the Auberge after finding that the hotels we had identified in Alistair Sawday were fully booked. The Auberge cost a lot less but we were not disappointed. The room though small, was clean and comfortable and had the all important WiFi. The bathroom floor was wet when we arrived and after a quick word with... More
