This has been our 3rd time at this hotel. Excellent food. Use the menu of the day and eat your way through the menu. You will not be disappointed. Excellent host & hostess. Good pool. And the best kept secret is that all rooms are air-conditioned.

Great location not far from Turenne, we spent 3 nights here and used it as a base for local sightseeing. Evening meals using local produce were excellent and great value for money and we were able to sit outside both nights and enjoy the friendly and relaxed service. Rooms clean and spacious, and the owners very friendly and have a... More

We were recommended to visit the restaurant at this auberge and it was well worth the visit. The auberge has been sympathetically renovated, the dining room is modern but charming with a lovely fireplace. It overlooks gardens and an inviting pool. Dinner was excellent, well presented and served, and very tasty. I had foie gras and roast pork, my friend... More

This place is worth going to just for the food alone! The first course was a combination of garlic butter, parsley and snails sandwiched between filo pastry and topped with mushrooms. The second course was a wonderful veal fillet presented in a ginger sauce with a small dish of Chinese stirfry. The desert was an apricot panna cotta with an... More

Best about this place is the large swimming pool - ideal for a stopover after a long day in the car. Clean rooms with good beds, airco, comfortable bathroom. Great food - simple, traditional french food but well-prepared and at a good price. Same for the breakfast. Friendly people. This is somewhat more expensive by French standards but this is... More

We stayed here for just one night en route from Paris to Avignon. So wish we had spent more time here. The owners are lovely, The food stunning and the house white was great. Very comfortable rooms/beds. Lovely looking pool and gardens and plenty of space to park. Nothing not to like at all. Also just up the road are... More

We stayed 2 nights while driving from Costa Blanca to Portsmouth in mid August. We knew it is well located for exploring the eastern side of the Dordogne, and St Denis les Martel, 5 minutes south is very convenient and a pretty town. It is just 20 minutes north of Carennac, which is a 'must see' village! The charming couple... More

Very good position close to Turenne and Collonges - beautiful villages. And easy access back on to autoroute north/south. Hotel was modern, clean, fresh and a dip in the immaculate swimming pool was welcome on a hot afternoon. We regret not eating in the hotel as everyone has recommended the owner's cooking - he is also very attentive and welcoming... More

We were here three nights and truly enjoyed every minute. The rooms were very clean, the only complaint would be the smell of the new sisal carpet throughout which kind of had a barn type smell. The owners were very friendly and I would highly recommend eating here. The owner prepared a fantastic meal comparable to something you'd get at... More

We spent four days here as a party of six attending a wedding in the area. It is an excellent family-run auberge with clean, comfortable rooms, and a pleasant terrace / pool area. The lift for my Mother made life easy too. It is well located just a few minutes for Turenne and Collonges la Rouge, and is a great... More
