The dishes of the restaurant are really bad, they don't have a good taste, the staff and owners are double-sided, make the funny and then they'll talk back, the food is really bad I have eaten much better in not star restaurants, and I wonder how they would have had that star. the hotel is in bad shape, the upholstery... The hotel itself is a delightful place in a lovely setting. The staff were welcoming & courteous. The room very clean & comfortable and the price for overnight accommodation good value. The restaurant offers only (expensive) tasting menus over which the chef & staff are unnecessarily secretive. We would have preferred an option to choose ourselves what we should eat,... More

Dear customer I'm very proud to see that you found our Hôtel delightful and that you enjoyed your room Our restaurant is a Michelin Star restaurant and our 15 dishes menu is the cheapest of all the restaurants nearby. The 2 others menus are also very cheap due to the number of creations. I thank you to have choose our... More

Four of us stayed here for a week in April. Usually the hotel has people for a night or two but despite this we were made very welcome and were very comfortable. The hotel is a great mix of the old and the new and is situated in several acres of beautiful parkland. We stayed in the renovated annexe -... More

Our stay here in July 2013, although short, was wonderful. The accommodation both in the main house and in the renovated barn was very comfortable and catered for everything we needed (play station was a huge hit for my sons who stayed in the barn annexe). Breakfast was a delectable feast - homemade jams, patisseries, local cheeses... A day could... More

This is one of my prefered hotels when I am on business trips in and around Lyon. The rooms are really nice and clean and the food delicious there. Only the check-in on special times (Sundays or outside reception time) is a little bit stressful as you need to know a code for opening the gate to enter the properties... More

I stayed here on business just for one night. We were were warmly welcomed and given our room keys. My room (in the house) was spacious and interestingly furnished. Bed was very comfortable. Wifi worked well. Breakfast was amazing - such a range of bread, cake, fruit, meat, cheese, yogurt, etc. Lovely coffee too (even for my non-European taste). I... More

For 135 euros we had a small room, which was not in the main chateau. It was furnished with cheap plastic furniture. This was poor value but what really appalled my wife and I was the restaurant attitude. While having an early evening drink, we were asked to order for when we had booked to eat. There were just three... More

We are sorry that our hotel you were not pleased. However, some clarification is necessary because your opinion is rather contemptuous and baseless What you call 'Plastic funiture' are made by Philip Starck. eg lamps cost more than 600 euros each but the design is probably not your taste. If we do not tell our clients what they will eat... More

Unfortunately the restaurant was clodes when we came, but the rooms were tastefully modern styled, much to our tastes. The people there were very helpful and we had a great breakfast the next morning and historic settings, the contrast between old and new was very well done
