Upon arriving my partner and I were greeted by friendly and professional staff in reception. After reading poor reviews we were keeping a close eye on our stay here. The resort features absolutely stunning surroundings, plenty of space around the property and extremely well maintained gardens and lawns. It features a full size tennis court, 2 pools with MANY deck... More

The villas here have massive double floor length windows with no curtains!!! Just large heavy blockout roller blinds which does the job at night keeping inside dark but during the day, open them & you are on show to the world - it didn't feel comfortable sitting in the room at all and don't start me on the weird breakfast... Thank you for taking the time to review our resort. We are set on a spacious 11 acres and ample room to relax and enjoy the tranquil Hunter Valley. We appreciate your feedback in relation to the blinds. Most of our guests prefer to roll the blinds up and enjoy the surroundings and complaints of this nature are certainly few... More

Stayed here for 2 nights to attend concert at local vineyard. The standard price for accommodation is $175- per night however due to event "weekend" the price was jacked up to $450- per night. I admit we were provided with a bottle of wine on arrival and continental breakfast was included - but seriously the accommodation was very basic. The... More

Thank you for taking the time to review our resort. Our rates are dependent upon special events and activities in the area. Extensive research is done to determine set prices for our event weekends and this is based strongly on supply and demand for the area. We are a 3.5 star resort having bar, brassiere and brewery onsite. On low... More

We had decided to go for a weekend in hunter 24 hours before so there was very little accommodation to choose from. On Potters website it claims to be a "hotel, resort & brewery" Face facts- it's a motel with some man made ponds that attract Mosquitos to your room. After a day of wine tasting we weren't keen to... Thank you for your feedback in relation to our resort. We do classify ourselves as a resort and take pride in what it is we provide. Quite simply, we have 3.5 star accommodation, onsite microbrewery, main bar, state of the art tab and other gaming facilities, large brassiere and a separate conference/event centre. Karaoke is our entertainment each and every... More

My wife and I dropped in for lunch on the day of our concert visit, well it must have been the busiest day of the year. We were prepared for a wait due to the high turnover but we were very pleasantly surprised by speed of the service! We have eaten here previously and we enjoyed the meal, this time... More

Thank you so much for providing such a pleasant review of your experience with us at Potters Hotel Brewery Resort. We had 1000s of people through our bar and brassiere on that weekend and over 350 people in accommodation. Its nice that our patrons and guests can take the time to share their positive experiences with what we offer. We... More

My husband and I stayed at Potters Hotel & Brewery during the weekend as we were attending the Bruce Springsteen concert. Talk about price gauging!! $450/night for motel style accommodation with stained carpets, armchair and bedhead. The bathroom was filthy with a dirty hand print above the toilet, long curly hair on the floor and bath hob as well as... More

There is all levels of accommodation offered in Australia and generally you get what you pay for and what you reasonably expect for your investment. Also it's understood that under some circumstances, supply and demand dictates you sometimes pay a premium for accommodation when there is high demand and a special event such as the recent Bruce Springsteen concert. However... More

The "resort" although appears nice from the outside is anything but nice! We booked a King room at $450/night expecting decent lodgings but were greeted with filthy headboards and lounge chairs, unwiped surfaces plus a boarded up doorway that had no sound proofing at all. It’s sad to say I expected this review on Trip Advisor and unfortunately guests can use this website as a negative forum when not receiving a response they would like.
