This is a quiet little hostel in the middle of wine country. We stayed here on the way from Byron Bay to the Blue Mountains. It is clean, tidy and peaceful with plenty of parking. It has been recently refurbished by the look of the place. The owners are friendly and willing to give advice on places to see and... More

Colleen is an absolute star! she organised everything for our large group of 20 on the weekend, including a full day wine tour and bus for the group. Jeff our tour guide from the YHA is a legend and made our day so enjoyable. The YHA premises are ideal for a large group, we hired five mixed dorms which consisted... More

I stayed here on a family reunion, we booked the whole place out and it was great value for money and also great location. This YHA was the best one ive stayed in, great kitchen and entertainment/balcony area, will definantly stay here again!

This actually was one of my first experiences of Australia. I found the surroundings in the YMA to be really nice actually. Bunnies, horses and kangaroos jumping around- red sun setting over the dusty hills. And the start. A great YMA accommodation it is not- the rooms are very basic, a sad 10 sq and a naked light bulb, but... More

We found the beds to be uncomfortable. We only managed to get a couple of hours of broken sleep. It felt like we were sleeping on the floor and when anyone moved in the bed the other could feel the bed moving. I did not hear the traffic from the road but I do sleep with ear plugs. The fan... More

we stayed there for 2 nights in a private room with private bathroom You get what you pay for : not much. staff is friendly but bedroom is very small and walls are so thin you can hear conversations in neraby bedrooms. The shower is small and water doesn't stay warm so it's a real pain to get clean (especially... More

It was only 12 degrees celsius warm in the room when we woke up in the morning. Unacceptable! Even if we had blankets is this not ok! No heater. Well situated in a nice environment. Friendly staff. Expensive if you compare an have in mind this is low season.

This hostel was wonderful and we ended up extending our stay. Nigel was super friendly and helped us with tips on which wineries to visit, cooked kangaroo hamburgers and booked the next hostel for us. The YHA wine tour was good value for the money and we got to see different types of wineries and try A LOT of wine.... More

First time the parents have come with us to a hostel. Different style accommodation that they were used to but they loved it! Lovely rural setting, close to vineyards, very clean. We stayed in 2 private rooms, 1 with an ensuite. Good value for money and very friendly staff. Not noisy for us. Enjoyed the outdoor living areas. Would stay... More
