My friend and I stayed there for a few days over Nyepe and can honestly say what a truely wonderful place, so back to nature. We trekked down to the River which was great and saw beautiful flowers and huge butterflies. Food was great. I would highly recommend. Jacqueline

My friend and I stayed here over the Nyepi festival in March. It is a beautiful and very tranquil place to be. The accommodation is 1st class and the service is 2nd to none. I would totally recommend this for a peaceful retreat. A1

I’m high in the mountains in a remote eco-resort, somewhere near Kintamani below the rim of one of the volcanoes that dominate the skyline, and the weather. The country is steep, with streams incising deeply into the soft volcanic rock, creating impenetrable chasms that radiate out from the caldera. On the steep slopes, small holdings farm all manner of crops... More

If you are looking for peaceful place to run from everything you need you have to get there. But it is not easy ;) as it is located in the middle of nowhere, in balinese forest. Wonderful views, coexistence with nature (not for people afraid of bugs, lizards, etc.) and great cuisine (best Nasi Goreng you can imagine). Good spot... More

We spent three lovely days at the eco village and were very impressed. The construction is simply fabulous- there's nothing like being surrounded by bamboo all the time! The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the food is amazing (best pasta we've had on our trip). We spent hours gazing at the forest in front of us and enjoyed... More

I loved this place, great garden, views, and food. Comfortable and good value. It is a long way from any where so if your wanting to go out somewhere at night this is not from you. If you want to do a couple of day tours and do a bit of walking and just chill out in natural surroundings this... More

Getting away from busy kuta, this place is a peaceful getaway, a perfect hide away to spend with friends or lover, pick your own salad from the Eco garden and trekking to the river with amazing staff. tried to blend with local people and meet cindy (cute dog) she can lead the way down to the river if the staff is busy.

Set amidst misty hills, tangerine groves and coffee farms, the Bali Eco Village was a charming getaway for anyone seeking a different experience in Bali from the conventional villa-resort style accommodation in most tourist areas. I stayed for one night. The architecture was delightful, quite reminiscent of dwellings from the Shire in the Lord of the Rings film. The room... More

I returned to Bali Ecovillage to detox and restore my health... it's an organic place but you must love nature and all that comes with it to really enjoy it as much as I did. For me the quiet peaceful relaxing atmosphere, showering in water with no chemicals and eating organic green salads more than makes up for the lovely... More

I was driving back to Kintamani from Munduk (via Bedugul and Plaga, where Bali's longest bridge is) when I first saw the sign for Bali Eco Village. Intrigued, I stopped over and had lunch and checked out the rooms. Seems the Hobbits decided to emigrate to Bali after the shooting of the Lord of the Rings and did an even... More
