If you go to Salento, you have to stay at this place. Amazing atmosphere!! Incomparable. The staff is very helpful, the food (breakfast and diner) is absolutely great and good value for money! We loved staying here because the setting and staff make you feel like at home and it affects all visitors. Tip: book early! They fill up quickly!... More

We stayed here for 3 nights and were sad to leave, you can easily spend 5 nigts in Salento for there is much to do. We booked a room in the seperated house, but something went wrong with our reservation and had to sleep the first night in the main building, which was okay. However, the seperated building is great!... More

An amazing hostel with an amazing vibe. Super relaxed with ridiculous views of surrounding areas, close to the coffee tours and amazing food each night. We stayed for a week but could of stayed longer!! The older lady on the front desk was a bit of a downer but you can't have everything! The rest of the staff were amazing... More

Beautifully located among the coffee plantations of Colombia's Zona Cafeteria, this is quite simply the perfect hostel. Lovely warm atmosphere; decent breakfast incl. and excellent evening meals available; mostly good-sized rooms and firm beds; above average guest kitchen; helpful, welcoming staff; nightly bonfire with marshmallows on sale for roasting. Seriously, what more could one want? Well, actually, one quibble would... More

We stayed at this hostel for 2 nights in October, and it was probably our favourite hostels in Colombia. It is a short walk (20 mins) from the centre of town, and the hostel itself was surrounded by breathtaking views. It's a prefect location to relax and enjoy vista for a couple of days, and even participate in a yoga... More

We stayed in the private room with bathroom in the other building. It was comfortable and quiet at night. The hostel promotes the communal dinners which comes at a Very good price and is an excellent way to meet people. The only small issue with this place is that it's a bit far from town (15-20 min) walk.

While La Serrana may be a bit of a walk from city center, the facilities, staff, food and views make up for it. The included breakfast was terrific (2 options), WiFi was consistent and stable, showers had great pressure, although hot water was lacking during peak hours. The beds are firm and pillows somewhat lumpy. Guest kitchen facilities and equipment... More

I stayed with a couple friends at La Serrana 2 nights in August. We had an enjoyable stay. The rooms were normal, but clean and safe. The grounds were great for relaxing on, especially the hammocks throughout the property. The bonfire they made each night was a nice touch. The location was about a 15-20 minute walk outside of the... More

Came for 2 nights stayed for 7 ! This place is just so beautiful and in such a lovely setting. 1km from the town and a really nice walk. The town itself is just so cute. The hostel has a really nice friendly atmosphere and is super clean. Everyday you see the ladies come in and lift everything up and... More

Really loved this place. Beautiful peaceful place a little bit outside of town. Had fantastic group dinners almost every night and everyone staying there was lovely! Even had an in residence Yoga teacher while I was there. It is a bit of a walk outside of town so be aware of that. You can however call taxis and get to... More
