I stay in many hotels during the year and as such read many hotel reviews bus as yet have not been inclined to write one. That is until now. This hotel is well placed just off the M25 ..... Rooms were OK ... nothing special. Some upgraded rooms with flat screen TVs and updated decor. Room size was OK but don't expect to watch TV .. The signal is rubbish. Tea/coffee making in rooms. Hotels leisure facilities are poor ... They have a small pool and jacuzzi .... Pool... more

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights in September 2009 for a friend's wedding nearby. We checked in about 11pm and the man at reception barely spoke english and couldn't work the card machine (for the card pre-authorisation). This is a funny place. Part of the hotel is an ancient manor house, but most of it (and all the rooms) are in a hideous 80s carbuncle tacked on the side. Comfortable and clean. The hotel staff were also pleasant. Breakfast was a little disappointing but it was included in the price. The dining room was very attractive. If you like walking the North Downs Way runs right alongside the hotel. more

This hotel was very pleasant. My room (19) was clean the staff were courteous and the breakfast was very good but a bit expensive (£14). I would recommend this hotel to my friends and family. more

Booked in for a Saturday night to get away from North London for the weekend.
