Location was perfect; hosts were gracious; rooms and family suite were spacious (separate kids' room with a curtain but not door); and cold breakfast was generous (bread, toast, different pastry each morning - e.g., croissant or brioche, yogurt, jams, local cheese, ham, fruits, and delicious coffee or hot chocolate or tea). WiFi is also strong from room. Breakfast was at... More

We stayed 2 nights in the family room (Chambre Hortensia) with our 3 kids. The owner had added a camp bed for our 7 year old and it was perfect. The 2 eldest were in an adjoining room, separate from the main. Good shower, enclosed garden and patio where our youngest enjoyed playing with the stones. Plenty of parking space.... More

Stayed here one night. Room huge (we had family room, last available when we booked). Bed reasonable, bathroom fine, breakfast very good. Hadn't noticed when booking that they don't take credit cards, fortunately had enough cash!

We enjoyed our night at La Gentilhommiere. The Owner was terrific in recommending a restaurant not far from her Inn that was wonderful. The historic character of the structure and breakfast area furnishing made for a delightful visit.

We stayed in the yellow room, which was exactly as shown on the website. It was clean and comfortable, very spacious. The breakfast was delicious: homemade breads, jams, juice, coffee, tea, fruit, as well as cheese and cold cuts, were offered. The hostesses were very gracious and wanted us to feel comfortable. There isn't a television in the rooms and... More

We stayed 2 nights after coming by ferry from Portsmouth to Caen to visit the D Day beaches. The small village of Manvieux is close to Arromanches and there are plenty of restaurants in Arromanches for an evening meal. We stayed in the Chambre Jaune - the room was enormous. There was also a small table and chair area with... More

The B&B is a large stone-built house set in a shady garden in the tiny village of Manvieux, 2 km from Arromanches. Our room was spacious, clean and had a "lounge" area and separate bathroom and toilet. We also had wifi, and a little balcony overlooking the courtyard and a view of the church. Breakfast is served at a communal... More

We were not disappointed with our second visit to this quaint B&B and were greeted like old friends by the owners, two sisters who run this B&B. The rooms and the bathrooms are very large by French standards and are clean with comfortable beds. Breakfast is delicious with home made brioche, yogurt and jams to accompany coffee, juice and french... More
