We stayed for 4 nights and skied everyday at Ancelle ski station. Our room was comfortable and beautifully decorated. The food was great and all the staff friendly and attentive. We didn't use the swimming pool or health facilities as the spa in particular seemed a bit expensive. We will definitely return.

We have just returned home having spent a short weekend break in Ancelle, staying at the Hotel Les Autanes. This was our first experience of this hotel, which had been recommended to us by friends, and we were not disappointed. The service was excellent, the food lived up to its reputation and the accommodation was very comfortable. The hotel was... More

On arrival the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. It is useful to have a fairly good command of the French language as only 1/2 staff speak English. The double rooms are small, with limited storage space for clothing and a very compact but serviceable bathroom area. The beds were comfy, however do have a plastic cover over the... More

we had good days there - a good base for hiking or paragliding. The pool is great - after a long day of sport. The restaurant is quite pricy and almost the only solution in town. The other hotel/restaurant is closed on Friday/Saterday - so there is not much other choice. Positive were the church bells in the morning -... More

Very nice hotel, with full mountain typical type, and very good gastronomic restaurant. Rooms are very nice, and only small remark about beds a bit too hard for me. Breackfeast is very good Possibility to rent and store ski stuff in the shop in front of the hotel. All family happy !

We have stayed one night in this hotel in the middle of the Hautes-Alpes; located in the center of the village of Ancelles, the hotel offers nice amenities, and particularly a small swiming pool that could be nice especially for the kids. The suites are actually quite small and could accommodate family with small kids but certainly not a family... More

We arrived as a group of 8 in 4 open cars on a very hot day. What a joy to have use of a really warm part-covered swimming pool. Family owned, as most Logis de France, and a lovely friendly family. Some rooms are across the road, but as there is no traffic, this is not a problem
