We were looking for a hotel about 2-3 hours from Calais on our way back from Burgundy. We had stayed in a few Logis hotels and had been very happy with them and decided to try this one as our last stop before catching the chunnel back to the UK. Aisonville-et-Bernoville is a village a few miles to the east... More

This lovely looking premises is in deepest rural France with limited competition in the area which explains much. It is a converted 18th century stable block on what was a large farm belonging to an aristocrat who was very rich which shows in the quality of buildings around it. Parking is in an internal courtyard which is beautifully kept with... More

We stayed at the hotel for two nights as a stop off point driving from the UK to Italy. We were travelling with our young son who enjoyed the many toys around the hotel as well as the outside space. The location was fairly out of the way but scenic with views of the chateau behind. We were a little... More

When we arrived we were given a disabled room. We didn't request this and to be honest, unless you really cannot manage stairs, avoid it! (I think it was room 16). It's part of the old farm buildings and is the only room in the block: looked like office and kitchen next door. It initially felt cold in there despite... More

The hotel is a converted farm bulding that has been finished to a very poor standard in terms of quality of fittings and furnishings. The bedrooms are very small with virtually no furniture, badly laid quarry tile floors and no carpet. Suitcases have to laid on the floor. The beds are small (4'6") doubles. The bathromms is tiny with a... More

We chose this hotel as a stopover on our way home, we weren't disappointed. Firstly the hotel itself is beautiful, set in a converted stable block attached to a Chateaux. The public rooms were tastefully decorated and airy. The bad parts were the rooms. It seems they had been converted hastily and cheaply. It's very alarming to be in the... More

We booked this hotel as a stopover having seen other reviews on tripadvisor and we weren't disappointed. I would say the staff are discreet rather than uninterested, they were certainly pleasant to us and there is a phone provided at reception to call them if there is noone around. We had booked a double room and a quadruple room but... More

We booked this as a last stop on our way back to England from Provence and it was somewhere not that far from Crecy and Azincourt too (they have a battle reenactment here in June which we missed). Certainly the aesthetics of this barn/stable conversion are wonderful and interesting, and the Chateau around the corner is impressive to look at... More

A beautiful building converted from the grand stable block (built in 1748) of the chateau next door. (The gardens of the chateau are open at weekends in July and August.) Quite difficult to find, but is signposted from one of the roads leading to the village. Some rooms looked quite small but we had a good-sized corner room (one of... More
