This hotel is in the centre of Dambach which is a quaint town on the Alsace wine route. The room we had was full of exposed beams and was a good size, recently and well decorated and with all the fittings you need including a bath with shower over. The staff were helpful when they were there and at the... More

Achingly beautiful village but this hotel was a disappointment. Our room (budget Castorama decor) had one window which was overlooked by the house next door. Which seemed to be fine until the builders started at 8am in the morning. Had to draw curtain and use lights on a sunny day. Not a word of apology from the owner. Price-wise it... More

Six of us who were hiking through Alsace had the fortune to stay at Hotel Le Vignoble for an overnight in Dambach-la-Ville. The only unfortunate thing is that it was only for one night! The room with its ancient timber construction was charming but very practical. It is obvious that Caroline Martin, the owner, has done a very good job... More

A very pleasant little hotel next to the church with comfortable rooms and an excellent situation. The worry of church bells at night did not proved justified and we had a very good night sleep. The owner is cheerful and very pleasant and copes well on her own. Only regret is the lack of yoghurt or fruits - not even... More

This time I was with two girl friends staying at the hotel. Caroline welcomed us with her usual charm. We were comfortable and breakfast maybe basic but really good. Better than a lot of more "up market" hotel breakfasts I've had. Dambach is such a pretty village and is extra special as it isn't over run with tourists. It's such... More

A lovely hotel located in a charming tranquil village. Dambach-la-Ville is just off the main road, so you don't get all the through traffic that you get in some of the other towns and villages on the Route des Vins. The owner was very friendly and couldn't have been more helpful. We will definitely be coming back, for a longer... More

stayed here for a family wedding in the village. The owner, Caroline, was friendly and helpful, and her facility with English was also helpful. The hotel is pretty and clean, and while the room was plain, the bed was comfortable. About the bells: folks, you're staying in a village that dates back to the 1100's - embrace it!! The breakfast... Recently stayed here for a couple of nights. Would recommend with a few caveats: First, the pluses: - Clean, well-maintained room - Friendly and very competent proprietress - Great location in the center of the village The things to watch out for: - The churchbells - really charming but they did interfere with my sleep - Not much in the... Recently stayed two nights in Hotel Le Vignoble while touring the Alsace wine route. Hotel is in the centre of the village with no problem parking. Owner was very nice and friendly. Good sized room and everything was spotless. Nice breakfast.

This a friendly, comfortable little 2 star hotel ( no restaurant) offering B & B in old beamed rooms. Parking opposite or in the next door church car park. Very clean, owner run establishment. Good value for money. Ear plugs supplied as there are 2 churches in this tiny village, and they know how to ring a bell!
