This time I was with two girl friends staying at the hotel. Caroline welcomed us with her usual charm. We were comfortable and breakfast maybe basic but really good. Better than a lot of more "up market" hotel breakfasts I've had. Dambach is such a pretty village and is extra special as it isn't over run with tourists. It's such... More

A lovely hotel located in a charming tranquil village. Dambach-la-Ville is just off the main road, so you don't get all the through traffic that you get in some of the other towns and villages on the Route des Vins. The owner was very friendly and couldn't have been more helpful. We will definitely be coming back, for a longer... More

stayed here for a family wedding in the village. The owner, Caroline, was friendly and helpful, and her facility with English was also helpful. The hotel is pretty and clean, and while the room was plain, the bed was comfortable. About the bells: folks, you're staying in a village that dates back to the 1100's - embrace it!! The breakfast... Recently stayed here for a couple of nights. Would recommend with a few caveats: First, the pluses: - Clean, well-maintained room - Friendly and very competent proprietress - Great location in the center of the village The things to watch out for: - The churchbells - really charming but they did interfere with my sleep - Not much in the... Recently stayed two nights in Hotel Le Vignoble while touring the Alsace wine route. Hotel is in the centre of the village with no problem parking. Owner was very nice and friendly. Good sized room and everything was spotless. Nice breakfast.

This a friendly, comfortable little 2 star hotel ( no restaurant) offering B & B in old beamed rooms. Parking opposite or in the next door church car park. Very clean, owner run establishment. Good value for money. Ear plugs supplied as there are 2 churches in this tiny village, and they know how to ring a bell!

The reason that I stay in a hotel is to: 1. Sleep. 2. Have breakfast. The hotel is situated bext to a church which rings the bells every hour, or even half-hour and quarter of an hour! This means that I woke up at 6 am from the bells. Not what I expect from my holiday. The breakfast was not... More

My best friend and I came to Dambach to conduct some research into my ancestry and I had a good feeling that it would be best to stay in town to have access to any information I might find. My instincts were spot on: from the moment I received the email confirmation from the owner, Caroline, to the moment we... More

We three adults (parents and daughter) enjoyed a very pleasant night in this small village hotel. Very clean with good size (for Europe) en suite bathrooms with my daughter enjoying a delightful bath, which filled very quickly. The service by the young owner (she seems to runs the hotel by herself) was excellent. She advised us to go to the... More

Great hotel- perfect value for money. Cozy, charming and great service. Bed is super comfortable... Clean as new. Just get some earplugs to deal with the church next door and all is perfect- will come back for sure!
