We spent a couple of nights at Rose Nook in July 2013. The cottage is lovely and quaint, set in a very pretty village. There is a great view of the Cotswolds from the garden. Our room was clean and fresh. At the last minute we needed an extra bed and Hilary was most accommodating and fitted in a camper... More

We spent the weekend in the Glos/Oxford area to look at the trees etc recently and stayed at Rose Nook. It was excellent in all ways. Hilary was so helpful, looking up things on the internet (places, prices and train times). The rooms were lovely and the breakfast 10/10 - a real treat. If you are in the area this... More

We stayed at Hilary and Richard's B&B last night and can't recommend it highly enough. I booked at short notice and Hilary was very helpful on the phone in confirming my booking. As there is no pub serving good food in the village, they have a system where they will drop you at the Old Fleece Inn in Woodchester with... More

We stayed in the Rose Nook B&B for 3 nights and found it to be outstaning. Being enginneers and travelling all over the uk and staying in many B&B`s we found this to be one of the best. The rooms were immaculate, clean and warm and had tea/coffee making facilities and also a TV, with DVD player. The bathrooms were... More

An immaculate, comfortable, peaceful and friendly B&B. Hilary is a lovely hostess. My sister and I had a perfect stay while walking the Cotswold Way. We had ordered an evening meal which was delicious (main course, dessert and coffee). Breakfast was excellent (and huge). We had ordered packed lunches which were also great. I do recommend Middleyard as a place... More

Hilary and Richard are most gracious hosts, and the Rose Nook is spotless and reasonably priced. Our experience here, including the meal Hilary prepared for us, was unsurpassed during our walk of the Cotswold Way.

We stayed at Rose Nook about halfway through our hike of the Cotswold Way and it was by far overall the best place we stayed along the Cotswold Way -- in fact, it was the best place we stayed in our 27-day trip that included walking part of Hadrian's Wall and a few days in Wales. Hilary and Richard are... More

Had an amazing stay at the Rose Nook whilst down in the west county for a wedding. A charming bed and breakfast in keeping with the beautiful surroundings. Run by great people, who probably do the best breakfast for hundreds of miles....cant recommend Rose Nook enough....great value, easy to get to and and very homely......enjoy your stay!!!!!!
