We feel so lucky to have found this little piece of paradise to spend our summers at. The owners are nothing short of AMAZING and do anything and everything to ensure everyones stay is the best it can be. This is our second year as a seasonal and personally have never been subjected to the sewer issues that others talk... More

We did a lot of travelling and stayed at quite a few RV parks. None of them equaled this one. The place was a sheer pleasure to stay in, the owners were amazing, kind people who did absolutely everything to make us feel welcome and comfortable. There are several sites owned by tenants. These people were also very friendly and... More

We come here every year and absolutely love it. The owners upgrade and enhance the campground every year by adding something so it's always a nice surprise when we arrive! The staff are so friendly and the restaurant next door always gives us a welcome break when we don't feel like cooking. It's our go-to place every summer!

We are seasonal and our family loves it! Yes, a problem with the sewer during one of our stays but Allen and Alison were on it immediately and did their best to rectify the problem as soon as was humanely possible, and at great expense to them, I'm sure. It did not interfere with our fun in any way. They... More

We just spent 2 nights and enjoyed it emencely. The staff are terrific and the place is clean. Yes maneuvering around the place is a little tight but the staff will do whatever they can to help. The sites are clean, flat and hook ups were great. There are lots of young trees that they have planted to increase shade... More

Great location close to lake and marina, and stores. Lots of room for rv to get in and nestled under tall fir trees. Lots of shade. Nice hike up the mountain and great place to walk the dogs. Relaxed atmosphere and friendly people.

Saw the negative reviews and still booked for one night. Was raining cats and dogs when we arrived, but the evening cleared up nicely. They delivered firewood and stacked it neatly under the trailer, the spot was clean, and the campground feels like a real campground...not a parking lot. We'll come back next season for sure. Next time we'll spring... More

I stayed here for 2 weeks with my family (a group of 15). The campground had non stop sewer problems which lead to a very smelly and noisy stay. There was a large unmarked hole with a leaky raw sewage pipe on the street of the campground where people walked and children played. (Surprised that no one fell in and... More

Hi Jackie Basque, We are so sorry to hear of your negative experience at our campground. Yes, we did have septic issues for a few days due to guests flushing items into the system that should never be flushed, but nothing like what you are complaining about here. We brought in experts at great expense to fix the problem in... More

My family just returned from a week long stay at sunset bay. Although owner and staff seemed like genuinely nice people the "resort" I can't say such good things about! Campsites are extremely small, during our stay we watched many people coming and going each of them struggling to get in our out of stalls. Sitting beside our trailer we... More

We had our family reunion at sunset bay rv park last year. Amazing spot and view of the lake. The restaurant was also a nice treat when we wanted to just sit back and be taken care of. Looking forward to this summer.
