A really relaxing place to stay. Simple but excellent food. Highly recommended.
Have just spent 2 months voluntary work at Bua River Lodge and how priviliged i feel with a stunning location over the Bua River. I stayed here with my fiancee and family and we had a wonderful time. The food and service were superb and the setting is magical. The owner also saved us from car disaster when our battery went flat which was amazing! The island rooms are very private and real luxury standard and hot water was readily available.
If you are wanting peace and tranquility this is the place for you!!! A luxury tent surrounded by the splendour of the African bush that has "room service", breakfast delivered to your door and views to die for. Monkeys and baboons visit regularly and the occasional bushbuck can be seen grazing on the ohter side of the river... elephants also...

A peaceful secluded retreat amongst the trees in a really beautiful setting with wonderful staff and great food. The island rooms are really romantic, while the hillside rooms offer great value for money, with the same fantastic service.
