We visited Chapala, Mexico in mid-Sep 2014. This was an exceptional time to see the lake and the towns along the North shore. The weather was perfect every day we were there from September 15 through the 26th. One of the highlights of our vacation had to be our hotel, the Quinta Quetzalcoati Inn or (QQ). The price was reasonable.... More

My daughter and I stayed at this lovely B&B on our way to the beach. We planned to stay overnight but loved it so much we stayed an extra day in our delightful room with a private patio surrounded by flowers, plants and a fountain. The grounds are lovely, the service impeccable. It was a joyful experience.

Friends of ours recently invited my wife and I to accompany them to the Lake Chapala/Ajijic area in Mexico as they are interested in residing there. My friend had already made their arrangements for the hotel and because I know my friend well, I knew he would have done his 'homework' on the hotel. So, I knew this would be... More

We recently had the opportunity to stay at this gorgeous little oasis, the room was huge and had all amenities we needed, the garden was lush and expectacular, we absolutely loved it! It is walking distance to everything- safe and the owners where so accommodating! We will return soon

A great little b&b - perfect for a little romantic getaway away from the hustle & bustle of Guadalajara. Rob and his wee dog, "Aussie" were the perfect hosts. Fantastic breakfasts and the room we were in was very clean, colourful and romantic. My wife and I fully recommend staying here if you are visiting Chapala Lake. Very relaxing. Thanks... More

First about the Inn. It’s a place to reflect, read a great book or write one! The setting is romantic, peaceful and sweet. The grounds are so beautiful and the inn keepers are the most sincerely gracious hosts I’ve ever met inside or outside of the states. They can set you up with a knowledgeable English speaking guide for a... More

We just returned from 2 days at QQ and could not have been more pleased. We stayed in The Carriage House which had a Super King bed, couch, kitchen and dining area. TV with some English channels was nice for late in the evening relaxation on the HUGE bed. The best part of this B&B was the gardens and grounds.... More

QQ is only a short walk to the center of the action in Chapala, but once inside everything is miles away. Words like “enchanting” and “unique” seem overworked, but they are apt descriptions of this lovely B&B. From the moment you enter the gate, you feel as if you’ve stepped into another world. The gardens are fabulous, lush and tropical.... More

We just returned from 10 days in the Lake Chapala area. All the towns on the North side of the lake, including Ajijic are considered "Lakeside". We chose to stay in the town of Chapala this time. Fortunately I found the website for a fantastic B&B. It is actually named Quinta Quetzalcoatl ,but is called QQ by the locals. The... More
