Basic and outdates installations, but very close to the entrance/exit from San Carlos, this Hotel has the basic needs for your stay: clean rooms/beds, pool, restaurant, with good rates for the budget. A plus is to be able to buy groceries, food, drinks, etc., to your room without having to pay more. And as a bonus, an Extra store is... More

I must agree with the recent reviewers that though its location is good, as of April 2014 this place was a dump. We also noticed that there didn't appear to be any cars parked in the guest parking area. But we had paid in advance and we arrived rather late in the day so we really were motivated to stay... Recently a known local family (ORDÁZ) entered this property using force and commandeered it. There is much legal stuff being thrown around in court. Mostly an attempt at aquiring this illegally using the Mexican courts antiquated irregular system. The American owners appear to have been out maneuvered by the system again. Hostile unsafe environment.

We stopped in to see what the rooms looked like and to get a price. The first thing that I noticed is that the office smelled like cat piss. But from the beach this place looks nice, but up close, it is slowly falling apart. There is a sign in the office thats says, "no tv's or phones in the... More

We try to give honest reports and really want to see businesses succeed but we just can't do it with this one. We stayed 2 nights and the main reason is, we are traveling with a little dog and they are the only ones I could find online that accepted dogs. I will look harder next time. Here is the... More

This was a shock to someone who has stayed here in the past many times. The facility is getting more than just a bit long in the tooth. It is falling apart. The staff is wonderful but the rooms are barely functional. No hot water in the shower. Most of the lights were burned out. The dilapidated air conditioning unit... More

We stayed at the Fiesta Real on the first night of a three day road trip from Phoenix to San Miguel de Allende, MX. The property is situated on a tranquil part of the bay before you get to the Main part of the city. Although the rooms show as circa 1980, they are clean, have great mattresses (which are... More

We spent one night at the Hotel Fiesta Real in San Carlos, Sonora right after Labor Day - there were few guests. The room had paint peeling from the ceiling, no light at the entrance to the room so you had to grope for the lock after dark. There were no towels in the room and the very pleasant receptionist... We travel with a dog which can lead to hotel problems in Mexico. The Fiesta Real was a happy find after spending other nights in San Carlos in much less plesent environs. The hotel is right on the beach and has a good restaurant. We ate in the Bar with our dog under the table. For those traveling with a... More

Reservations: we made a reservation of 1 room for 2 nights. When we arrived we found out that we had a reservation for 2 rooms and one night. Fortunately it wasn't a problem to fix this. Room: Stayed at Room 111. Recently renovated and perhaps the best room at the hotel, not only because it's the only room with TV... More
