Spent one night at this small Inn located in Santa Elena after a day visiting Uxmal. Beautiful grounds, nice clean room, great mattress, super pressurized water shower not gravity and above all quiet. Did not use the AC as the ceiling fan was more than adequate. Main reception area has lots of reference material and Rosa, the manager, is very... More

We spent 2 nights here as a base for our exploration of the Puuc Maya sites. Because of a vacancy we were offered a free upgrade to a large room in the main building, which was luxury indeed! But I think the normal rooms, in bungalows dotted around the beautiful garden, were probably very nice too. The terrace outside our... More

A comfortable, clean hotel surrounded by lush gardens, with short hiking trails behind the hotel, we spent an enjoyable week here. Nicely decorated with local crafts, comfortable bed, refrigerator in very large cottage. Two good restaurants are close by. Friendly and helpful staff. About 1.5 hours by second class bus south of Merida, and close to Mayan ruins. Santa Elena... More

Great breakfasts (included in room rate), great service, lovely room, fun walks around the property to birdwatch. Guests have access to a wide variety of resource books (on birds, wildlife, ruins, culture, etc... Rosa was a most gracias hostess/manager. Beverages available - just ask - they can be charged to your room. Great location just outside of the village, but... More

We made a last minute change of plans on our trip to the interior of the Yucutan and found this oasis on Trip Advisor! We got there after dark, were graciously greeted by Rosa and led to a beautifu room. Their breakfasts (included with the room) of fresh fruit, bread, eggs, juice and coffee were well prepared and very good.... More

Comfortable, charming, friendly place to stay while exploring the area. The owners and Rosa the manager are wonderful and full of local knowledge, while I had researched the sites and places I wanted to see, I got great insights that very much added to my "ramblings" among the towns and ruins of this beautiful area of the Yucatan. The grounds... More

This small family-owned Inn is a perfect place to relax far fron the crowded touristic sites (like Chichen Itza) and enjoy the wonderful and less known sites of Uxmal and Puuc Route. The staff is wonderful and the rooms are clean, quiet and sourrounded by a magnificent garden. Definitely an excellent place to stay.

Now in the capable & gracious hands of Rosa, this is a lovely garden oasis at the edge of a Mayan village. Although well-shaded by trees and decorated with flowering plants, it is conveniently located for both visiting the town and the Puuc Hills (Kabah is within biking distance, Uxmal an easy bus trip). The casitas are very comfortable, clean,... More

Awesome place! The hotel is lovely, the rooms are extremely clean and confortable, a great hotel-boutique! The staff is amazing, Rosa even prepared our breakfast earlier because we had a long road trip ahead! We loved staying here, one of the best places in the peninsula! Worth for the price! Strongly recommended!

We loved everything at the Flyctcher, from the farm-fresh breakfasts to the accommodating and gracious hosts. This well-established boutique B&B is managed by local women well-versed in ensuring that their international guests receive personalized hospitality. These local women know every local nook, cranny and tourist hot-spot. With their blessings and map in hand, each day was our very own dream... More
