Just had a great weekend break at the Suffolk Hotel, the course was fantastic, helped to be fair by a bit of great weather, rooms functional but clean and had all you need, and a good bar with a fair range of nice not over priced meals. We stayed at this hotel for a friends wedding at the bank holiday at end of May 2007. We did not stay at this Hotel. We attended a mid day dinner there for between 150 to 200 people. There was 1 person in the bar to serve everyone. needless to say half of us didn't get served. We tried another bar upstairs. 1person on there as well. She had never heard of a lemon and lime with ice!... more

I booked to stay in the hotel for 4 days in August, if it wasn't for the no refund policy I would have left at 2. The room was nice a bit basic but clean, could have done with a paint job and the Gym was very well equiped. But thats were the good things end. I only eat there... more

Upon arrival at this hotel was delighted to find that they know what a room for mobility impaired customers need unlike some others who believe it to equate to a larger door to get in and out the bathroom!
