As others have said, we were welcomed by Bev with a flute of Proseco. Such a warm and welcoming place. Great food and service. Bella is also a character with special talents! Thanks so much, Bev for making our stop on the C2C a great one.

This was such a lovely friendly place to stay after walking the c2c route from Richmond. We were greeted by the lovely Bev who popped a cork and gave us a glass of prosecco to enjoy whilst we checked in. Our room was so light and airy and the attention to detail with the soft furnishings just made it feel... More

Perfect location Bev really makes every effort to ensure your stay is a memorable one and is most successful . Her cooking is almost as tasty as her Mums :-) . The group of walkers who shared both the very tasty 3 course evening meal And Proper FULL English breakfast all throughly enjoyed the ambiance created around the table. We... More

We stayed at 12 different B&Bs on our C2C walk none of which we arranged ourselves. Mickeldore did a great job as all were very good but two really stood out and Park House was one of them. After a 20+ mile rather dull flat slog of a section our moods were immediately lightened by a smiling Bev handing out... More

This guest house felt like home from home. The hospitality of Bev and Mike was second to none. The food was excellent and a well stocked bar kept us entertained all evening. The walks from the guest house were directly on the coast 2 coast and Cleveland way trails and the views were spectacular.

parkhouse is a joy to behold as the day finishes on the coast to coast track. We were welcomed with a flute of sparkling wine, before getting ready for a roast beef dinner and dessert. My room was above the kitchen and I was able to get wifi while everyone else had to use the communal areas. I had a... More

If only all the places we stayed at on the coast to coast walk were as good as Park House. It always amazes me that there can be such a wide variation in standards. Park House is right up there with the best and it was a pleasure to stay there. I won't repeat what previous reviews have covered, apart... More

We were greeted on arrival by Bev, who was almost as effervescent as the glass of bubbly she offered! (Call the day before you are due to arrive to confirm meal requirement.) The accommodation is situated directly on the C2C walk in beautiful woodland, hens scratching about in the yard, the dog keeping watch nearby. Bev is an organised hostess,... More

Beverly was without a doubt the most welcoming host we had during the coast to coast walk. Our room was spacious, comfortable and offered everything we needed. The home cooked meal was the best meal we had during our entire walk. We were made to feel completely at home. The icing on the cake was their adorable little dog, Bella.... More

Well the truth is Park House is a beautiful place to stay. Our best stop on C2C walk. Bubbly on arrival, lovely stylish bedrooms, gorgeous living room for guests, home cooked food, excellent bar, a cockerel called Bob Marley, delicious breakfast and most of all a fantastic host who makes you welcome and loves the sound of laughter. As summed... More
