Outstanding, by far the best stop on our Coast to Coast walk. Thank you Bev and Mike for making us (and Incey the dog) so welcome. After a long trek from Richmond we were greeted with a much needed and welcome glass of prosecco followed by an excellent evening meal. A beautiful place with comfy beds, we had a great... More

The trek across from Richmond on the C2C is quite a long one and the final walk up to Park House puts you in the mood for a nice glass of prosecco followed by a nice beer . What a welcome. Very pleasant accommodation that sets you up for the next day

What a welcome, there's more!! With the bar and guest lounge welcoming, and well appointed rooms, we were right at home, enjoying the vivacious Beverley and Mike through the stay. What a happy experience , with wonderful choices for dinner, well presented and great food. Breakfast and lunch to go, including Beverley's mums's flapjacks were excellent for the misty climb... What a fabulous find! We decided to walk from Richmond to Ingleby Cross in one day (bit silly!) and were exhausted when we arrived in Ingleby Cross. After phoning Mike he collected us and took us back to their house. Fantastic welcome from Beverley and Mike (and Bella the dog) including a glass of Prosecco. We had a fabulous dinner... More

Wow is all I can say. Beverley and Mike greeted us all with a glass of prosecco. Beats tea and cake any day. Their enthusiasm was infectious and were so genuine and happy to accommodate us. Dinner was roast beef and all the trimmings. Breakfast was copious and varied. A little gem of a place in the woods. I hope... More

We had a very comfortable overnight stay at Park House on our c to c walk. I would describe it as being given a warm hug! We had a delicious evening meal at the communal dining table, and relaxed on cosy sofas in the guest sitting room afterwards. Our room was beautiful, we learned next morning it was the honeymoon... Beautiful place just beyond Ingleby Cross village so extra walking distance for coast to coast walkers but it reduces your walk for the next day. Owners were really friendly offering a glass of Prosecco on arrival and an evening meal, which was absolutely lovely and homemade, if rather large portions. Room was nicely decorated and met all our needs. Packed... More

What a beautiful country house set right on the C2C path. After a few closed footpaths and wrong turns and walking 27 miles from Richmond, a friend came to pick us up and take us to Park House as we just couldn’t walk any further! It was a little tricky to find from the road but we got there! As... More

A lovely place ran by smashing people. Nice rural and plush farmhouse setting, a great menu and drinks available. Would definitely recommend and would definitely stay again. I stayed whilst on the Coast to coast walk but would recommend to stay there for short break. Within an hours walk to stunning views of the vales, and the Cleveland Hills

Arrived here late in the evening, very tired, and was given a warm welcome. Room was delightful, and blissfully quiet. Watched the World Cup Grand Final on the TV in their guest sitting room, and almost felt that I was at home. Breakfast was hearty and Mike (host) seemed to treat guests more as family members than as strangers. Travelling... More
