An amazing b&b stay - probably the best have every had. Isabel and Donald went over the extra mile to make our stay unforgettable. Bedrooms are beautifully appointed and very comfortable. Rooms 1 and 2 look out over stunning Loch Indaart, while others have views over to Jura or up to the hills above. Breakfasts are excellent - very good... More

This was a wonderful B&B in a great location on Islay. Lovely view, easily accessible. The hosts were gracious, generous, warm, and informative. Breakfast was outstanding. Yes, traditional Scottish breakfasts are excellent, but don't miss Isabel's omelette as an alternative choice! The rooms are well-appointed, newly refurbished, and very comfortable. Nice touches include freshly baked goodies for tea, and a... More

Wonderful modern bed and breakfast that I will recommend to everyone. The whole place is freshly refurbished and looks spot on. Room we stayed in, master suit, was big, clean, with a massive bed. Bed has a good firm mattress on it which is a massive bonus if you ask me. Shower room was huge with a walk in shower.... More

We stayed in Kentraw during the whisky festival for 1 night and would have loved to stay for longer! Kentraw is immaculately finished and kept to an extremely high standard. Our room was spacious and the bathroom beautiful. The best bit of our stay was definitely the breakfast, fresh coffee of any type, cooked breakfast, pancakes, fruit, it was all... More

Kentraw farmhouse made a perfect base for our four days' exploration of Islay. The farmhouse has been beautifully and comfortably restored, with the wood burning stove being lit whenever one wished to enjoy the sitting room, day or evening. Isabel and Donald were perfect hosts; the breakfasts were splendid. We would recommend it to everyone.

Stayed for 8 days in this lovely B&B. Had a warm welcome by Isabel and Donald who made us feel at home. Modern, yet very cosy rooms in a quiet enviroment. Perfect breakfast and enjoyable and warm evenings with the other guests and hosts. We would certainly stay again.

The reviews on Kentraw Farmhouse are spot on. Isobel and Donald are superb B&B hosts - no change that, are superb hosts full stop. From the moment you arrive they are delighted to see you as if old friends, and throughout our 4 day stay in May they remained that way. Chatty and informative about where to go and what... More

Myself and 4 colleagues visited Islay as our main destination for a weeks trip to the Western Isles and the Cowal peninsula, with Kentraw our accommodation for the 2 nights after a long ride up from Hertfordshire and Yorkshire. On a late arrival we were met with a welcoming smile and help to store our bikes in the barn. A... More
