A warm welcome awaits you, at this fantastic Bed and Breakfast, Fiona was the perfect host, nothing too much bother, as well as having a excellent knowledge of the area. My husband and I, had a, long overdue, but very relaxing and wonderful few days on Islay, infact, we were very sad to leave, we would have, very happily stayed... More

We have travelled extensively throughout the UK, Europe, North America, Central America and Africa staying in a variety of establishments but Fiona Doyle's Loch Gorm House will remain in our memory for a lifetime. Many establishments leave travellers feeling unrested and, simply, unhappy about their experience and that includes many five star guest houses, Inn's, B & B's, Hotels and... More

We had a highly enjoyable and relaxing 4 night stay at Loch Gorm in mid June. Our bright, spacious room on the first floor was tastefully finished in pastel greens and yellows and had glorious views out into the bay. We particularly liked the large comfortable bed, the wonderfully heavy curtains, the powerful shower with piping hot water and the... More

My friend and I stayed here at the weekend; big rooms, finished to a deluxe standard, the best full Scottish breakfast I have had and Fiona is a charming host. Islay is a fantastic place to visit, not just for the whisky drinkers, though the many distilleries are worth a visit. The sandy beaches are incredible, there are lots of... More

Situated on the shore of Loch Indaal Loch Gorm is an imposing stone building set in 1 1/2 acres of beautiful gardens. Beautifully luxurious interior. The host, Fiona Doyle is a really warm and charming lady. The comfort and facilities really are first class. Breakfasts are freshly cooked as you wait in the elegant dining room cum kitchen. My husband and I stayed here with another couple just for one night recently. I had tried to book other B&Bs on Islay a week before our arrival but it seems as though the island was very busy with tourists that week. By chance I was able to book one of our nights at Loch Gorm. Fiona fitted us in... More

This is a beautiful B&B in a terrific location on the Isle of Islay. Fiona welcomed us with tea, hot fruit scones and jam in the lovely guest lounge which has lots of reading material and is a beautiful room just to sit in and relax. Breakfasts were friendly, sumptious and yummy with lots of options: beautiful home made jams,... More

We absolutely loved our stay at Loch Gorm House. Fiona is a gracious and friendly hostess and her home is gorgeous. Our room was large, beautifully decorated, and had the most stunning bathroom. She cooked a great breakfast, made sure we had dinner reservations lined up, and took particular care to make sure our baby was comfortable and welcomed. We... More

Loch Gorm House was a very welcome sight when we arrived on Islay - Fiona bailed us out when our original B&B overbooked - and we were very grateful indeed for her warm welcome! Loch Gorm House really is first class in every way - from the enviable position it occupies overlooking Loch Indaal and Bowmore on the other side... More
