We could't have come across a better place on our holidays in Scotland with our two children. Fiona is the perfect host, welcoming us with tea and scones. Our children played in the garden with her dogs and were very happy. The house is very beautiful, our room had seaview and the sunrise in the morning was stunning. Our room... More

Stayed at this delightful bed and breakfast with my husband and had a superb time. Fiona was amazingly hospitable and made us feel part of her family. The room was wonderfully comfortable and the whole house was furnished with great taste. We were warmly greeted upon arrival and enjoyed a first class breakfast the next morning in the family kitchen.... More

If you would like to spend lovely time on the island you have to stay in Loch Gorm House. Lovely see view, spacious room, made up to the highest standards and bathroom you will fall in love with. Family friendly, very welcoming, delicious breakfast and only couple of minutes away from Bruichladdich distillery. Highly recommended.

Upmarket decorative beautifully sited bb overlooking big bay .Had to park on road as entrance drive locked with a chain. Rather overpriced for a scottish island.Extremely busy owner ,florist as well as bb owner.Cold bedrooms ,superb bedding.

My husband and I stayed two nights at this beautiful home. Our room was very comfortable, clean and full of fresh flowers. The bathroom was ensuite and had a combo shower/tub. Our lovely hostess had prearranged a dinner reservation for us and was very helpful in recommending places to see and eat. On top of wonderful sleeping accommodation, we were... More

I stayed here with some friends for 2 nights, 3 days, and if i had the time i would have spent another week. From arriving the proprietor (Fiona) greets you with whatever you need. The fresh clean bedrooms and bathrooms will make you feel at home, the huge scottish breakfast Fiona makes in the morning will keep you going all... More

If your going to spend time on a great island, you better stay in a great B&B. That would be Loch Gorm House if the island is Islay. Rooms are great. New bathrooms are awesome. Breakfast was amazing. Host is super-awesome-great. She called to setup dinner reservations, made sure we had a taxi to/from our events, even called the restaurant... More

Second time we have stayed here and certianly won't be our last! Fiona made us feel incredibly welcome. The easter bunny had even visited, to the delight of our two children! thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Even with a broken ankle Fiona was a fantastic host! Great knowledge of local activites, distilleries and eateries too.

After a relaxing trip from Inverarary, we were welcomed into Loch Gorm House by Fiona Doyle, a lovely lady that took great care of us. Whilst we settled in Fiona made us tea and scones and gave us useful information about the island. (Thanks for making restaurant reservations, we appreciated all you did for us). Our beautifully appointed room, with... More
